Okay, so Davis/Cole (I'll call him Cole) is essentially the guy that comes around once in a while to be told to do pointless orders and go "Aaah! I mean, yes, sir" Then he gets infected, and is last seen in some deserted town in the form of a two-hp Mech. The main dudes then go "...Hey, it's Cole" and kill everything. EDIT: I think he gets called a coward once or twice in the US translation, though. I think when they see him in his last appearance they say "Asshole always chose the winning side" or something.
