Knoll is squishier than Canas, too, and slower. Not only will he get hit most of the time, he'll also take more damage and will probably get doubled over.

He's not good for anything short of being a Summoner, really, and even then you better keep him the hell away from any enemy units PERIOD.

It won't help. Knoll will still get an axe/lance/sword/arrow/whatever in the head.

I want to say the bold phrase is wrong. But that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. Personally, I think Knoll makes an awesome Druid. He'll have access to Anima tomes, which are lighter than Dark tomes. Which helps out his dodging. And he gains the use of staves which gives him more of a helpful role.

You see, the problem is, even with Anima he still sucks. There's better Anima and Stave users on your team already, whereas no one else on your team can use dark magic or summon except Ewan, who is the only one character that actually has the option of using dark magic on your side that doesn't completely blow. It'd make more sense to make Ewan the Druid and Knoll the Summoner, so you can get Knoll the hell outta the way and still have a Dark Magic user hanging around.

His monacle is overrated. Knoll is a magic tank and he'll double some shamans at the desert and he has good advantage against mages. But yeah...at least Canas Def exist and it's better than Mouldah's.

FE8 Shamans are ALL shit, except MAYBE Ewan if he takes that route.

Canas's Monocle is the source of all his power. If he would've left it on, he wouldn't have even been phased by that blizzard.

Don't forget he'll double the rest of the enemies.

Neither of them do at base lvl. Just lvl them up a bit, they both are good, just that Knoll has more Mag & Res. Canas is more physcal resistent, he has HP & Def and at least his luck exists.
