Do you need an item otherwise it doesn't happen? You need to use a promotion item when a unit is over level 10. It is recommended you raise them up to lvl 20, or else they'll get bad stats. The earliest point that they're able to promote is Lv. 10 of higher. But seriously, who in hell would anyone consider promotion a unit at Lv. 10? Serene Posted June 10, 2008 Share Posted June 10, 2008 10/20's work out fine for me, the highest I've ever gotten someone was about a 15/20 but it wasn't in this game.
