Lotz is the best character in the game.

Let's see here, he's funny but stupid. He thinks talking loudly will help Leanne to understand him, and when she urgently tells that someone dangerous is behind him, he doesn't turn around to see the BK and run away, he asks her if she's saying that someone is behind him. Seriously, if you think someone's telling you that you are about to walk off a cliff, you don't keep walking and ask if you are walking off a cliff.Facepalm_emote_gif.gif

I agree, he's awesome!

He's the best at not being aware of his surroundings.

IS THIS RIGHT?

It's not like he could escape. It seems like he was in pretty tight quarters, the BK had warp powder, and he was pretty fast to begin with. Even if Lotz had seen the BK, it's not like he could get away and keep Leanne safe. But, say what you will. I merely attempt to use logic. (but) People are not moved by logic.

Logic in Fire Emblem?

Laughable.

"I'm gonna invade this country and then send weak ass generals there to take care of a band of rebels/survivors that keep whooping their asses while those rebels/survivors recruit strangers off the street to fight for their cause."

I bet Lotz survived and got killed in FE10 because of Tibarn proving how good he is as a ruler by excellently protecting his country from the possibility of an assault.[/sarcasm] Its not like Tibarn would deploy Lotz in the main army after he let Leanne get captured.

In reality though I wouldn't have minded another hawk to use in FE9/10 though even if he fails compared to Janaff/Ulki/Tibarn.

he appears in a cutscene where Tibarn told him to protect Leanne, but he completely fails at doing so.

That may be but you can't deny his skill at putting things in the bag

You mean Leanne's bag?

:awesome:

I felt sorry for him, his death would of been avoided if Leanne could actually speak proper modern language.

I wasn't aware that he was actually killed. I thought that the BK merely knocked him out as he later did to Ena. If I am mistaken, let me know.

It sounds like he dies in that conversation, but we never learn for sure. He never appears again though, unlike many 1 scene PoR characters like Gareth, Hetzel, and Lekain. And Rajaion was similar, it isn't clear if he died when he said those final words, but it is clarified in FE10.

I thought he wouldn't be able to since he is unable to kill innocents, but it seems that there are some exceptions.

If he couldn't kill innocents, why does he attack my level 1 Mist when I put her next to him? D:.

I thought he died, maybe I should replay this game and read it again but I remember something along the lines of Tibarn being sorry for Lot's death but maybe I misunderstood. If he survived he would of made a good choice for Radiant Dawn, since Leanne got that opportunity.

When she enters the room, he says how he wants to 'end Gawain's bloodline', or something like that.

BK contradicts himself more often than Kieran.

In RD he says if he can avoid taking a life he will so maybe Lotz wasn't killed by the BK maybe he just got depressed because he couldn't stuff Leanne's bag anymore

I like Lotz. I was very disappoint when he wasn't in FE10. ;_;

Phoenicis is the only country to get fewer characters in FE10 than FE9.

IIRC Isn't it because he already died in FE 9? He was just barely conscious enough to show Tibarn what happened and then dropped back to unconsciousness (most likely dead actually).

Edit: It seems people are already aware of what happened so never mind.
