Crazy Idea

Is/Has anyone else here trying/tried to arena train everyone to tier 2 level 20?

I'm currently working on it and was curious if anyone else has undertaken this and if it has turned out ok?

From the looks of it...Everyone except the mages/healers, dragons, and Ballisticans can be arena trained to level 20 tier 2.

(mages/healers, due to the fact that 6 master seals appear after the last arena in the game, so I'm choosing to use them on my mages/healers, since they have the easiest time earning experience. Will most likely need to enemy abuse/boss abuse to get those levels, but it should work).

So far I have Julian, Castor and Narbal done and am working on Matthis, Gordin, Draug, Ogma, Bord, Cord, Barst, Darros. I'm in chapter 4 right now.

Edit: Everyone is in their default class and I will not be reclassing. Oh Yeah, I'm on Normal Mode too.

(I don't think it's possible to have multiple reclasses for a unit and still arena train everyone, one reclass MIGHT work, but I haven't tried it)

:) Good to know I'm not crazy then. Does it usually work out ok?

Yeah, I realize that there should have been an ? after Idea in the title, but I couldn't change it and when I clicked the use full editor button, it didn't work.

Additionally, does anyone have any tips on arena training Gordin, He's giving me a lot of problems

I intend to eventually get a Wifi Team together, but right now. I'm doing single player. I'm not sure if a non-reclassed team will be good enough for Wifi, but that's what I'm doing.

Alright, how do the WiFi people arena abuse without completely dying and needing to start from scratch. My first save point was turn 452. But I keep dying (after nearly getting to level 20 Tier 1) while training another group of 4. Any suggestions?

Know the matchups...

sword vs armor is generally bad. Be very careful with pirates and fighters because they have a quick animation. The same goes for myrmidons. From my experience, cavaliers are generally the easiest unit to train. Be weary of your units' defense. It sucks when someone goes into a fight going against a silver sword and potentially getting doubled. Bow units and peg knights are also somewhat easy to train as long as they have sufficient str/spd.(I doubt your bow units will double so you'll need to be hitting for more damage, or have more defense than the bow/magic unit you will face. For tier 1 units, a fight around worth 800 is normally pretty good, less is mostly magic and armors, more is generally cavs, myrmidons, fighters. For promoted units, I think around 1000 is good but I'm not too sure.

Edit: Also have a quick thumb for the B button

Accept lower wagers. Range only units have a giddy time in the arena because they usually go up against mages with lolHP and lolSPD.

As long as the archer's hit is good, then yes. A miss can mean death because mages can 2HKO sometimes.

They also get archers and hunters. But yes, it's a lot more mages than average.

Yeah Gordin is getting a lot of mages that do WAY more damage than he does.

Meteor, I'm working on default first...then I'll probably do another playthrough for WiFi. For WiFi don't you just wanna use a few units and do a lot of reclassing for that?

I usually do keep my battles below 800. For Gordin it's usually 800 - 820, since that's usually the range where mages stop showing up (and I get hunters/archers, but then again, those units are usually more powerful than me too :()

Edit: Narbal, Julian, Castor were easy and they were about the same level when I started arena training them.

Not to mention that enemies with a 1% critical hit, actually get them and I have 90+ accuracy and I miss! (skill effects accuracy and the skill is low)
