Hatari
If you upload a load unit and delete the file that that unit was saved on, does that loan unit still exist, or is it gone as well? Also, do loan units work by name only or name and class match?
Ike-Mike
Loan units work on all files, regardless if they are deleted or not. They work by name only.
Hatari
So, if I uploaded a really good stat Marth, deleted the file that that marth was saved on, could I still access that Marth on a new file in a new game?
4in1
You can't download and use your own units, only other people's.
Meteor
Your loan characters exist outside of the lifetime of your saved games. As 4in1 said, however, you cannot use your own units. You have a separate roster of units you have borrowed; one of which can replace the 'real' unit per file.
Hatari
ahh, darn...I wanted to get a pretty good Marth and just reuse him for different save files...well there went that idea lol.
Hatari
Do weapons get transferred as well with a unit?
Dr. Tarrasque
Do weapons get transferred as well with a unit? IIRC, no. I vaguely remember a transferred unit having the same equips of the original so only the unit's stats are transferred.
