grandjackal
Well, someone was asking about Luke earlier, also Vyland. EDIT: Sedgar's ending does seem less depressing. A bit. But still... Luke's ending: I THINK it's saying he tried his best to leave the knights to be among the merry people once more, but I have no clue because it is worded so weirdly. As for Sedgar's ending, it's a lot for him to take on, but it only works to say a lot about his character. Merric's: Maric's quote: With Marth and all our might...There will be no era of darkness. Ending: Yeah, pretty much the same, makes a magic school in Palas, yadda yadda.
Tryhard
Well, I managed to get the character endings done. I'll work on the final boss quotes later. And it turns out that I have forgotten more characters. Like... I killed 10. I don't even know how. I'll probably update this once I finish the game on hard mode (might be a while, only on chapter 6), but jeez. Didn't know I killed that many. So 67 characters, excluding the ones that I forgot to recruit/killed, which are in the text file. Link Here.
Thor
With regard to the earlier characters... Hmmm... from what I can tell, it appears that Sedgar remains as one of the "Wolfguard" knights, Vyland helps form ties between Aurelis and Altea, Luke leaves the Altean Knights to live a carefree life, and Merric teaches at the magical academy in Pales (the Akaneian Palace?) and is loved by his students for his personality. That would be absolute great if you could get there endings and boss quotes (this is right before the credits scroll). Thanks!

Could you post your list with missing characters once more, though? Just to make sure I won't miss anyone =p EDIT: Nvm that, since it's in the endings file. Thank you very much! Though I can't read the text, I can tell Arran's ending is the same from the short dialogue and multiple periods. grandjackal
I downloaded it and tried to use it on Word since that's the only thing I can get down to text, and it all becomes random garble. I am unable to read it because of it, I think mainly due to the fact that it's an .rar file.
Rewjeo
.rar is like .zip. It needs to be opened with something like WinRAR or 7Zip.

Thor Odinson
Either of these mac compatible? You don't even need those with Mac, I think. At least mine doesn't. It just unzips itself. I could go double check, though. Edit: Pretty sure it's built in. Edited July 23, 2010 by Luminescent Blade

I think we're missing something here. I can open the file, problem is I get garble instead of japanese.
Thor Odinson
Try System Preferences-International. Then play around with the languages. It could also be the encoding. Hold on--I'll check the file. Edit: They're PNG files to me. Edited July 23, 2010 by Luminescent Blade

Thor Odinson
If you tried opening PNGs with Word, yeah, that's going to happen. Use Preview, they're image files. If that's not the case, then... I dunno. Ohwait, International is for input systems. Haha, my memory sucks. grandjackal
Chances are I just run an outdated piece of shit. So, since you have the images, would it be too much to ask you send the images directly through a PM?
Thor Odinson
I'll have to upload them first. If you don't mind 60+ tinypic links, sure.

Well if it's asking too much you don't have to, but if you are going to do it then yeah, I don't mind tinypic links.
Rewjeo
I don't THINK so, but I'm not sure. Try searching for one that is. Edit: Whoa, my computer just loaded the post that asked if either were mac compatible, then I post and another dozen posts show up. grandjackal
Endings were sent to me via PMs, let's see what I can get out of them. Arran: After the war, he finally succumbed to disease... It was a bit obvious, so let's go with guys that are new here. Ymir: I believe it's saying he saw to it to repay the Grunian village that gave him refuge in the last game. Warren: Returning to Macedonia, he returned to being a hunter. He enjoyed the hush of the forest at nightfall. Roshe: After the battle, he returned to Aurelis. I'm not sure since a lot of it is hirigana, but I believe it says he mourned for Hardin's passing away.
Emperor Hardin
Do you have the translation for Dice and Malice's ending.
grandjackal
Dice: After the war, he sought a great fee from Marth. But, gambling had consumed most of it. Malice: After the war, she sought a great fee from Marth. This money maintained her weapon shop. Holy crap...Malice is a blacksmith!
