Nothing is really 'necessary' when you go into it, though. I was trying to maintain the number of classes as being identical to what was originally in the game. I did shift a few characters into different classes, mostly the ones without a new class though. Also, Hugh and Lot used their promoted class' base STR growth to calculate their absolute STR growth because the difference in base STR growth between Mage / Fighter and Cavalier is 20%, giving them 10% STR growth normally >_> I don't think their bases need to be calculated, because IIRC Nightmare uses absolute bases.
