Junkhead
I just started wondering why. If he has it, why not another laguz bird royal like Naesala doesn't? Was IS just favoriting him, or something?
Zkirsche
Was IS just favoriting him Considering his ridiculous stats and ridiculous move and flying and pavise and tear, I think the answer to that is pretty obvious.
Anouleth
He wouldn't be worth using if he had 9 move, they gave him an extra point of move to balance him out.
Fayt Zelpher
Crows have 6 -> 8 move. Royal Crows have 7 -> 9 move. Hawks have 7 -> 9 move. Royal Hawks have? Well, I think that the answer is plainly obvious. Being a royal bird is good for +1 move apparently.
Junkhead
But why do Ravens have less Mov than Hawks then? :(
a.f.k.a. Howard Hughes
Yeah werent they suppose to be fastest thing on Tellius when it comes to fleeing?
Junkhead
LOL. I mean, seriously. They have wings too. Or was IS just being racist and made them weak. Just look at Vika and Nealuchi's horribad Str/Strike, and Naesala being the weakest royal.
Narga_Rocks
Given the idea that crows are the speedsters and hawks are the slower ones (just look at enemy laguz stats rather than PC stats) you'd think that the ravens would have the 7 -> 9 move and the hawks would have 6 -> 8. It would also slightly balance Ulki and Janaff a bit compared to Vika and Nealuchi (though they'd obviously still suck relatively speaking, particularly since they are early game units (and thus have low stats to not be too overpowered early) that lack availability and leveling potential). And it would help Naesala over Tibarn.
NinjaMonkey
Naesala being the weakest royal. I'm sure that's Kurth, not Naesala...
Junkhead
Kurth isn't exactly referred to as a "Royal", otherwise Skrimir and the Herons would be, too. The defenitions to being a royal are the following: - Being broken. - Not sucking. - Being broken. - Formshift. - Being broken. - No 2-range. Fayt Zelpher
I'm sure that's Kurth, not Naesala... Except that Kurth has great caps... Not to say that your point is invalid (besides the herons, which don't count), but yeah. I just find it hard to say that a unit with 46 defense can be all bad. He has a hard enough time killing anything and not getting doubled as it is and his defense and speed growths aren't that great either. I just find it hard to say that a unit with 46 defense can be all bad. His class caps are similiar to Tigers. Overkill HP/Str & Def. But the thing is, he is a Dragon. And they are considered the most powerful race in terms of raw strength, and that explains it...
Integrity
Kurth isn't exactly referred to as a "Royal", otherwise Skrimir and the Herons would be, too. Kurth acquires Formshift. Skrimir and the Herons do not.
Junkhead
Kurth acquires Formshift. Skrimir and the Herons do not. But he still sucks.
El Rey León
Kurth acquires Formshift. Skrimir and the Herons do not. Kurt still isn't generally considered a "Royal" though. Even though he should. Edited December 13, 2010 by Lucius~
Junkhead
Wait, didn't he have 100 capacity? If so, then yeah, he's a royal.
RNG Princess
The ravens are also a class that along cats, and mages (especially Ilyana) were not given much of a favor compared to their polar opposites ^^' (hawks, and tigers). General Spoon
But why do Ravens have less Mov than Hawks then? :( Its probably because hawks are good at staying in the air without flapping their wings. El Rey León
I don't think laguz are based off their real world counterparts. If that were the case, Tigers would be stronger than Lions and Herons wouldn't be delicate creatures but predatory birds. IS had a hard on for Tibarn. That's pretty much it. Give him Paragon and Dragonfoe. He gained so many levels.
