Junkhead
I can't seem to get it working despite opening the "Run.exe". The cmd black window opens up, and nothing happens. It just doesn't load after that. I've also downloaded the Java Runtime Enviroment, but still, it isn't working. And yes, before anyone asks, I did extract the .rar file of FEditor. Thor Odinson
I thought it was in the folder "dist"->FEditor Adv. jar or something. Which should allow you to open it provided you have Java and is running Windows. Edited December 19, 2010 by Luminescent Blade

Aleph
FEditor has never been officially distributed in a shitty proprietary archive format. What are you talking about.
shadowofchaos
FEditor has never been officially distributed in a shitty proprietary archive format. What are you talking about. "Run.bat" was the way I used to run it on Windows Vista. I ran it via just double clicking the FEditor Adv.jar in the dist folder on Windows 7 Home Premium. Then I had some crap happen, and I had to reinstall Java. I then had to revert back to using the "run.bat". I just installed Windows 7 Professional via clean install because of the MSDN Academic Alliance thingy from my school. I have to run it by double clicking the .jar file now. Note: Whenever I had to run it via ".jar", I could run it via the "run.bat" and vice-versa.
Thor Odinson
I can't run it unless I switch to my Windows partition. I wish there was a Mac version, but it's probably hard enough work making this for Windows so I'll deal.
shadowofchaos
And yet Xeld/Hex made it on Java SO that it would work on other Operating Systems as well. Edited December 19, 2010 by shadowofchaos
Thor Odinson
I have Java on OSX. But it just wouldn't open. :<
Aleph
I don't know what to tell you. It should work on all platforms. Also that quote you quoted had nothing to do with what you posted, Sauce. Also, run.bat and clicking the .jar itself both work fine for me and always have, so I don't know what to tell you about that either.
