I'd imagine it's what you wear under your cap and gown, but I don't know for sure.

.............. Well then why does she insist I wear one if it's gonna be hidden? =[ She tells me that she wants it to be really really pretty, but if nobody can see it.....

Same reason my parents made me wear a dress suit under mine: There really isn't one, but just one of those dumb traditions that just continually perpetuates itself.

As unsocial as I am? No. I'd be sitting all by myself watching everybody else have fun while instead I could be at home where it's normal for me to be by myself.

Awww... :(

Well, I hope you go and have a ridiculously awesome time too.

Maybe she never had the dress she always wanted and she wanted you to have the experience that she never had.

That kind of sums up all modern parenting pretty well.

OH FUCK I ALWAYS WANTED TO DO THIS, BUT IF I MAKE THEM DO IT, IT'S KIND OF LIKE I DID.

But wouldn't you like to wear a dress?

Yes a dress would be nice. But my mom wants it to be extremely beautiful and I'd hate to have something so pretty that I just might only wear once, or at least very rarely.

Are you two graduating at the same time?

Yes. He's 18 and I'm 17 though. His birthday came too late though so by the time he came to be 5 it was too late for him to go to kindergarten and he had to wait a year and we're just a bit less than a year apart. So we're both seniors!

Seniors rule!!!
