geozeldadude
i'm finishing up my first PT of riviera, and although i enjoyed it, parts of it were pretty annoying. but i think it's the kind of game i might enjoy more the second time through. i'm going to pick up yggdra next, but i'm curious about baroque which just sounds completely off the wall. without posting spoilers, has anyone played it all the way through, how many hours did it take, and was it "worth it"? thanks in advance. eclipse
Gameplay-wise, it's almost a roguelike. It has the element of constantly needing some sort of fuel to explore, and the dungeon will change every time you enter it. I put almost in front of rougelike because the enemies will do something (i.e. kill you) even as you stand still, which is very unroguelike. It requires use of the Wiimote and nunchuck, but it integrates both very well. If you insist on playing this, my advice is to make sure your first experience with it is NOT on a cold, dark night, unless you like having weird dreams. Ein
Also the story and characters are interesting. There's also a PS2 version if you'd prefer a system. Nothing is different other the controls.

Ein
It takes some getting used to and even then you may not like it. Sometimes what you have to do to advance the plot is not clear and you may screw up having to explore the dungeon to the last floor again that is available to you. Ein
I got stuck actually and had no idea what to do. Then I found out what to do but never got around to beating the game. That doesn't mean I don't like the game. I really do but I don't really feel like playing it again any time soon.
