Lilmik11
I pick Ilyana.
Radiant Dragon
Ah, really? I know we're going in under-rostered, but I'm still expecting that in the effort of aiming for turncount I'll be passing up a lot of EXP. BEXP. Even in Hard Mode, you get more than enough. Radiant Dragon
I pick Ilyana. Actually, I believe it's Eclipse's turn. (I know this is Double Posting but I didn't want anyone to miss an edit. I apologize in advance) Edited January 5, 2011 by Radiant Dragon

Radiant Dragon
Don't worry, it confused me too.
Cecil Hoshino
I do know that, at the very least, it won't work like that for Rhys. While the other units will have more targets to have fun with and fight against, Rhys is still a heal only priest, meaning he'll be still only getting 10 EXP a turn with Heal, 20 with Mend. And with the rule against BEXP outside of capping off near level ups, that could be a problem. Also, I'll be honest, I'm still not sure how the heck I should be playing Fixed Mode. About Rhys, you could easily abuse Barrier and stuff. I don't know how I'm going to play with fixed mode either Edited January 5, 2011 by Lilmik11
Tormod
I'm under the understanding that the rule does not forbid you from giving a unit multiple levelups at base - just that you can't give it in small increments to make use of extending BEXP through smaller purchases, nor can you save-BEXP-restart over and over for good level ups. ...I think a bit of clarification might be in order. eclipse
Sorry, busy with my own tournament! I'll pick Zihark. That Killing Edge is useful, right?
Radiant Dragon
The rule about BEXP refers to BEXP abuse. You can give units as many level ups as you want. And restarting for good level ups doesn't work in Fixed Mode, so don't waste your time doing so.
Lilmik11
Then I pick Ilyana, which is the right time for now :P !
Radiant Dragon
If there's still any confusion about the rules or Fixed Mode, let's get any questions answered now, before people start playing.
Tormod
Just one: If a penalty is imposed for using a non-drafted unit, can that penalty be applied multiple times within a single chapter for that given unit (If they get attacked twice in one turn for instance), or is it limited to a total of one penalty for that unit for that chapter? It's ONE penalty for using an undrafted character in a chapter.
Radiant Dragon
Lilmik is right. For example, in Chapter 2, you could have Boyd get attacked while unequipped by a random enemy and take a four turn penalty, or you could have him solo the chapter and still take a four turn penalty. Cecil Hoshino
Well, that certainly clears things up. Alright, my turn. (dang, Muarim and Zihark were both my next picks. Hmmm). I'll go with Volke and Lucia. 50% STR growth can't be wrong.
Lilmik11
I pick Gatrie.
eclipse
Sothe, so I can do something with this draft later.
Tormod
I'm beginning to suspect you guys have a mind-reading van parked outside of my house. Gatrie and/or Sothe were going to be my next choice ;-; Haar Edited January 5, 2011 by Garlyle
Radiant Dragon
I would love a mind-reading van. The things I could do... If only.

Florete
Rhys is still a heal only priest, meaning he'll be still only getting 10 EXP a turn with Heal, 20 with Mend. Hm? Heal is 11, Mend is 12. See.
