Boyd will take the Speedwings when I can find a turn where he isn't doing anything. 0:40- Shinon's job here is to draw the Hand Axe fighter down so Titania can grab it without going out of her way. If this doesn't happen, he goes where the bandit at 0:59 is, and Titania can't kill him and attack the boss on turn 3 player phase from there. 2:14- This is one square past the maximum distance Titania can be from the boss and still make this work. The goal is not to trigger the other pirates hanging out with the boss, as they can get in the way. And even after Tanith shows up, I'm sure I'll find uses for 3. Chapter 4 2/15 Turns 900 BEXP Notes 0:07- The archers aren't going to get in the way, so Titania uses the iron axe. If she had used the hand axe, it would break and the 2 turn wouldn't work. 0:45- Trying to level Ike here, so he's countering a fighter even though he does really low damage. The fighter can survive being weakened by both Ike and Shinon, so Ike can finish him later. My original plan for the 5 turn involved Titania carrying Ike instead of Oscar, but that didn't quite work. Titania was short of a 2HKO on the boss with the Steel Axe, and his regeneration put him out of KO range from Oscar's Javelin. Fortunately, this worked much better. 2:46- Rhys's job here is to force the Javelin soldier in for Boyd. 3:58- Since Oscar dodged some hits, he doesn't need a vulnerary this turn and can rescue Ike now. Therefore, it doesn't really matter if Ike takes a hit. If Oscar needs to heal, Ike can stay on the field to draw attacks away. 5:48- Titania can't ORKO, but she can beat the boss down to his vulnerary range, making a safe zone for Oscar. 7:16- No idea why the AI prefers Titania over a weighed down Oscar, but this interesting target choice is what makes Oscar not die. If he Javelins the guy at 1:23 instead of killing him, Oscar can avoid taking a counter here. Then, since he has 1-2 range, the Knight should prioritize Titania (after all, they seem to prefer her even when Oscar is carrying Ike and doesn't counter). The Myrm would go after Ike and die there. Then Oscar would be unscathed, would still not need to heal, and the rest could proceed as outlined in the video. I don't feel like recording again since I already have a 5 turn, but that would be a safer method. It might be possible with more careful positioning, but Titania does have quite a bit of ground to cover. 2:13- This soldier never attacks, which is good to know for later. 8:33- The flash was actually in the game, not just the video. I was having some lag problems while recording the chapter, this is probably just an extension. 9:58- The soldier nearby is the one that doesn't attack, so Rhys doesn't have to worry about getting ganged up on and killed. 11:40- Shinon not countering these guys is an annoyance, but I didn't want to give them an excuse to move towards Gatrie, who wouldn't counter for much damage. This way, Titania can just grab Shinon's spot and wreak havoc. For now, Oscar, Boyd, and Ike. Eventually, I'll be adding in Kieran, Marcia, and Jill for exp priority. Marcia and Jill will be getting a ton of Bexp once they show up. I haven't exactly planned out my exp distribution very well, but if I happen to have enough to get Astrid up to speed, I'll probably do that. I'm leaning towards no at the moment though. But the noise, man! Where's the noise! 8[ Sorry. Apparently I can't record the internal sound with this integrated sound card (I could on another computer, but I don't think it would run Dolphin very well), and holding a microphone up to the speakers would be... kind of awkward. Anyway, I was planning to get back to this after I finished my FE7 run, but since I've been stuck for a while on that, I might come back to this one soon. She risked dying to a 26 display hit Poleaxe Fighter next turn, which wouldn't have been an issue if she was healed like she was supposed to be. Chapter 9 Base- I finished Titania's level, sold the Red Gem, bought Javelins and a Steel Lance, and forged a max mt +10 hit Iron Lance. 1104 BEXP Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res Support Titania 6.00 38 15 5 16 16 13 13 8 7/47 Turns 1404 BEXP 7 turns should be the shortest possible completion while recruiting Marcia (without promoting Boyd). From the spot where Marcia recruits herself before turn 5, if she rescues Ike, there are 31 spaces until the seize spot. Even with Marcia carrying 8 spaces, Titania taking and using her full move for 10 spaces, Oscar taking and dropping for another 2, 2 shoves from Boyd and Rhys for 4 spaces, and Ike using his full 6 move on Turn 6, the total is only 30 spaces, which is really unfortunate. If Boyd would be promoted, he could take and drop Ike in seize range for turn 6, but that would be a really large amount of BEXP that would be put to better use on Marcia. 2:00- If the RNG works in Boyd's favor, he can make it to the Restore village before grabbing the Talisman. In order to get there, this Bandit will need to die. Boyd couldn't stop in the end because he needed to heal, but at this point, I was still trying to get there. 7:28- This Knight needs to be taken care of before the rescue chain starts, as Titania needs to fight the boss the turn after that. Titania can also clear out the other enemies while she's down here. 8:52- This was a positioning error, I forgot about the Fighter. 9:04- Ike needs to be in range of Marcia to recruit her ASAP and start the rescue chain. Since the best one I could come up with fell a square short, Marcia will just carry Ike for the first turn. 9:57- I gave up on the Restore village after this. It's buyable, so no big loss. 16:55- Titania falls 3 damage short of a ORKO, so almost anyone can combine with her for the kill. I only got one of the Chest Keys though, as I didn't have time to stop off in the boss's room. I currently have 5 uses, and should be able to ration them from here on out. 1:06- In order to get the cell doors open in 3 turns, these Door Keys need to be used. The doors have 60 HP, so breaking them isn't viable, and Volke is just too far away. I had Titania open Nephenee's cell, although Oscar had a window as well. The cell with Kieran and Brom is a little more difficult. 2:11- Lethe has to take Ike at this square. Lethe is the only other 9 move unit since Titania has to kill the Halberdier, and you need 9 move to escape from here. 2:22- These two Knights pose a problem. If left unchecked, they will block the path to the cell. Since Titania was needed to clear the path to the exit, the best option here was Marcia. By weakening the one, she will kill it on enemy phase and prevent them from blocking her. 5:34- Titania cleanly ORKOs this blocking Halberdier, so Oscar's chip wasn't really important. Fortunately, I had just enough BEXP to get her there. Titania also needs to be able to ORKO the sword Cavaliers, and she also has to aurvive a pretty large number of attacks. All the houses were visited, Zihark was recruited, and all but one of the vigilantes survived. 0:16- After the shove, Marcia can reach the arrive square in 3 turns. After the smite, Titania can reach the adjacent space in order to kill the Knight. Neither of them can be impeded at all. 3:53- Though one vigilante needs to die to clear the path to Zihark, Lethe is out of range of all the others to keep casualties to a minimum. 4:25- This needlessly complicated shove chain was an oversight on my part. One of my original (later edited) plans had Oscar visiting the Elwind house, which is why he went north with Kieran. Even though he's out of the way here, he still can kill the Myrmidon in Ike's way and make this only need one shove. That's something I should have figured out before the recording since Oscar kills him anyway, just later. And if he was where he probably should have been, Oscar could have visited the house himself. 5:48- Marcia's job is to lure the boss out and make sure he can't get in Titania's way.
