VincentASM
Not sure if this will be useful to anybody or if it's already known, but this is a (kind of old) code that I found on Japanese websites that allow you to change the difficulty level. Note that you can't toggle Casual/Classic or Reverse/Non-reverse with this code. If you select Reverse Lunatic when starting a game (eg. with a downloaded save), you can use this code to play stuff like Reverse Normal. Might be interesting for people who want to try Reverse mode, but not on Lunatic's crazy difficulty setting. Action Replay code 621BD44C 00000000 B21BD44C 00000000 200001A9 000000XX D2000000 00000000 XX values 00 Normal 01 ??? (Seems to be Hard 0.5 or something) 02 ??? (ditto above) 03 Hard 04 Maniac 05 Lunatic 06 Lunatic' (AKA Reverse Lunatic*) 07 ??? (seems to be garbage from here on) * Note that it doesn't have the effect of reversing battles like normal Reverse Lunatic. fatgamecat
Ever find out what the "Tactics" score means or whether there's a grade above A?
VincentASM
I'm afraid I don't have a clue about Tactics. Based on the BSFE rankings, I'd assume Tactics is either Funds or Experience, but it could always be neither. Personally, and I don't have anything to really back it up, I think it might be related to stuff like opening chests and saving villages. As for ranks above A, there doesn't seem to be a sign of them in the game code. I only see text for E-A ranks.
fatgamecat
Bummer. A rank is just too easy for veteran players to obtain.
someonewhodied
Look at the bytes before and after that code. Reverse should be nearby.
