Asian awaaaayyyyyyyy
How I make character stats This is the way I make my character's stats. I do it like this so I don't end up making a clone of another character and would be original. The way I do it takes a bit(or I'm just slow) and is repetitive, so you might not want to do it the way I did. Growth Rates I get growth rates from characters of the same class. For example, if I want to make a mage, I'd get growth rates of mages, then get averages of each stat using mean, median, or mode. Getting stats of characters in Archtypes is a good idea too. I do this so I'd hopefully get characters between being a Haar replica and being completely worthless. Base Stats First, choose a level you want your character to be. Next, get the base stats of either the characters you chose from the Growth Rates step or that have the same growth rate amount, and get their average stats from the same level you chose. So if I wanted a level 7 mage, I'd get average stats for mages for level 7. Caps Pretty much the same thing with the Base Stats calculations, except you get their stat caps instead of average stats. For a first class character like a mage, then you'd have to find average caps for a mage, a sage, and(unless you're not playing RD or Gaiden) an arch sage. So that's kind of how I do it, if you see any flaws or have a better way don't hesitate to humiliate me by pointing it out.
