Favorite FE4 map theme?

Tough choice. Probably Final Chapter: The Final Holy War though.

I like all of them except Chapter 4: Dance in the Skies. It's not bad, but it just isn't good.

My favorite has to be Dance in the Skies, then Dragon Knights of Thracia, then Crossing the Desert.

Then after that, Final Holy War, then Light and Dark, and then everything else. <3 FE4 music

No love for Chapter 9?

The soundtrack is one of the few things FE4 got right; It's really, really good. Except Chapter 4. That one sucks. Chapter 8 and 9's aren't very memorable, but I don't recall them being bad.

You should definitely give FE4 a try though, and form your own opinions of the game.

Chapter 10 all the way. Easily my favourite piece of FE4 music, I fell completely in love with it after only a few bars.

Honourable mentions: Chapter 5 for setting the epic scene, Prologue for just being great and Chapter 9 for being artistically interesting*

Additional mentions: All the rest. I like it all. Really.

*if you care the bit in Chapter 9's theme that sound horrible uses the tritone interval, also known as the Devil's interval, in its harmony. The tritone just sounds horrible, it's a law of music. The melody for the phrase starts on a G in the key of C minor, the first harmony (the alright-sounding one) is built around a C minor chord while the second one (the horrible-sounding one) is built around a C# minor chord.
