Unlikely Sensations

SF,

Do you ever get a sensation that you shouldn't be getting as a result of what seems to be going on around you? For instance, and I've had this happen before, today I've been getting taste sensations in my brain. Just a moment ago it felt like I was drinking children's medicine, and a while before I had the unmistakable flavor of double-cooked fish in a sort of red pepper seasoning. But it wasn't in my mouth, it was in my brain. Tasty. It must be the sensation of my brain devouring itself.

I always feel like some little kiddy is brushing my hair for me and that's why it's always straight enough to make all the other girls jealous

Or wait if a kid were brushing it it'd probably be messier

I sometimes here a balloon pop...

and used to hear someone calling my name...

And... I sometimes get a beep in my ear... Which sounds oddly like a high pitch sound... But there sometimes isnt a source for it.

Last week I woke up hearing someone screaming, terrified I barged into my sisters room thinking it was her. She got scared and screamed after that but when I asked her if she screamed earlier she said that she didnt hear any screaming. I asked my mother who was awake at the time if she heard it too. Her response was the same =/

I watch someone get injured with a broken arm or fall off a bike hard. I get a sort of tingling sensation in that area of my body that looked to be injured. Pretty fucked up.

Y'all need to stop smoking weed and start sweating to get it out of your system.

Edit: Trust me, because I've been there with the hallucinations and stuff with hardcore psychosis. And like some of you guys I feel stuff I can't explain as a lingering effect. So if you guys can prevent yourself from getting to that stage, you should.

You don't pay a whole lot of attention do you? I'm sure everyone else here is a pothead, but I've never done any drugs. If you look around just a tiny bit I had a fire emergency in my house over "Thanks"giving.

I'm sorry I'll try to make you the center of my universe more so I make fewer comments that fall under the umbrella of "generally speaking" category.

I'll occasionally catch the scent of my girlfriend when she's not around (even outside, not somewhere it might linger). And just the other day I heard the high pitch a TV makes when it's on, but I could plainly see that there was not one around.

That last one's called Tinnitus. It's when your ears are damaged.

Demonstrate that your post didn't mostly come from seeing mine, if not entirely.

I haven't been sleeping lately and I'm seeing weird stuff for the past few days.

Be careful around violence or horror if you go without sleep for much longer, because you'll start seeing it. Vividly.

If things get REALLY quiet ... to the point I can hear any subtle movements my body makes, I'll start to hear this really loud and annoying ring in my ears and it will not freaking go away until I get some noise going again

I did not read anything in this topic... But I thought it might be relevant if I said that I occasionally get the feeling that someone is whispering to me if I listen to music while wearing earphones. Does that count as insanity?

Only if said voice plays the music (tracks) you're listening to in a certain way so you interpret it in a different way. Assuming you have it on shuffle.

Mhmm, I went quite a long time without sleep a few months ago, and for some stupid reason I read a story that had to do with something in mirrors. I walked into my bathroom a few hours later, and thought I saw something in my mirror, for a moment. I shat brix lololoooooooooo. But yeah, it ain't cool.
