dondon151
Can you just use Tsukuyomi, put in the two ROMs, and expect for it to spit out a patch file?
CT075
I would assume so. Just to be safe, you might want to try NUPS.
zahlman
IIRC xdelta is normally used for NDS ROMs because it has a better understanding of the actual "filesystem" that the DS implements, so you don't get a massive patch if you take a 1MB chunk of data and shift it over a few bytes. Crimson Red
1) Tsukiyomi is outdated 2) You won't get anything out of using patchers typically used for GBA hacks (though they can be used for other things) on NDS ROMs, most of the time. Those patch formats just check what data has changed at what offset. When data shifts like it does in most DS hacks that means the data at an offset is usually different than what it was before. Thus patches will tend to include most of the file itself--i.e. you'd be uploading a file almost as big as, if not as big as the ROM itself. The solution, like zahlman said, is to use xdelta. 3) How to use different versions of xdelta are covered in the Ultimate Tutorial.
