I'm loving this with my Ampharos as I've hatched her from an egg and she is now indeed becoming a legend. (Going Dragonball GT) She's my story character. Therefore, I've had her do all of the Gym leader fights. Like Dragonball GT where only the story important characters do all of the fighting, I'm doing the same for Ampharos since she is my main character for this awesome run! It's absolutely mesmerizing after your story characters' story was foretold and is now becoming a legend in battles. That's what Ampharos is doing for meeeee. She only fainted in the Blue fight, but she did so well. But...Scizor stuck it to him. Annnyway.... Took me 48 hours to get to Mt. Silver, but 10 hours of grinding is really only 3 hours as I've turned the frap speed up and the battle animations off. Only trainer in the series that you actually have to grind in order to stand a chance. Like Indilicio(SO2)(Gabriel's unlimited form in Star Ocean 2 that you literally had to bee to level 220+ in order to stand a chance.) They were at LV60 before I've started grinding. Ampharos My hero. Against Red, she did a number on Blastoise and Charizard. She also 3 koed Snorlax (Thunderbolt) and 0koed Pikachu with Thunderbolt. Ampharos' Thunderbolt is stronger, it seems. Had only 10 Carboses main game! You can get the cash for the stat ups by boarding the S.S Anne by resetting the clock from you caladar on your desktop. It does change the days of the week in the game by doing this, so keep that in mind. That's how I've got them to learn three Ice Beams and a Thunderbolt. As the tutor only comes two days a week in Goldenrod City by the casino entrance(Crystal Only). Scizor My second in command. Had 4 free Proteins throughout the game! Jynx A good ally. My sorceress. Had 10 Irons Main game. Kingdra My Krakken that knew how to hang ten even with waters. Surf did a number on even the pre evolved forms of them. That means you, Tentacool. No stat ups. Celebi No stat ups. A great Baton Passer. Did two Curses and passed them over to Scizor. His Strength only did 1/3 damage to Red's Venasaur and 2 koed Espeon. After killing Venasaur with two Swords Dance Boosts more, Red then sends in Charizard which 0koed Scizor of course with a critted Flamethrower. Unnecessary crit since Charizard would have killed it anyway. But..then had Ampharos finish off his 3 remaining Pokemon after using a Max Revive to revive Scizor. Never used him again in the battle as Ampharos diid a nice job finishing off the other three. Blissey My new friend. She was hatched from an egg with some chain breeding to get her to learn Heal Bell(Which heals all Pokemon's status alignments.) She was given 10 Irons and Calciums as well as the free Carboses.
