Luuul. Nah, the difficulty comes in the form of stars. I finished up Iyasu's story in about three hours, that has a difficulty of two stars.

And Ein said this show was bad. :P

It is.

I see I see.

Around what time during the game do the character upgrade their armor?

There was nothing to be scared about, though. They only did that to deafen themselves from their weakness: contradictions against the Catholic Church. As cringe-worthy as it was seeing them jam PENS WITH KNIFE POINTS INTO THEIR EARS, it was unexpected and makes me interested in watching it more.

Your thoughts?

Eh, I watched a few episodes years ago with some friends in an anime expo. I didn't see anything that makes it stand out and the whole magic thing just bugged me.

Doesn't help that all the female characters are supposed to be marketing tools and the main character had some kind of deus ex machina hand and spouted speeches a lot. Although the whole marketing thing is the only way for anything to stand a chance of being successful.

The violence I saw: The samurai chick that looks like every other samurai chick with a ponytail smashing her sheathe into Touma's stomach and Index getting cut up and almost bleeding to death and it keeps going on... It's just a cheap way to invoke emotions in my book.

Then again I just don't like anime/manga with fantasy stuff. I just want stuff that's more grounded in reality with little to no violence but that never happens.

Interesting. If only my friends were cool enough to do things like that. >_< I myself don't mind the magic, as it's a principal part of the show.

What anime doesn't use female characters as marketing tools.

I can't think of ONE anime that doesn't.

Touma's a pretty cool guy, but he's kind of a, uh, gamebreaker. He ALWAYS wins, which might make people not like him, in a way. Personally, I think he's awesome, but to each his own.

Kanzaki's kinda boring. I don't like violence in anime, but w/e. The pen thing shocked me, though.

Might I recommend Spiral: The Bonds of Reasoning? It's more of a manga, though.

Well, it's more like 'evolving'. There are a bunch of different factors. Like, Ginchiyo and Muneshige evolve by being in different nations and having a certain link with Luxio(Luxray)/Staravia(Staraptor) respectivley. While Motonari needs to have a certain link with Servine/Serperior and a bunch of different Pokemon catalogued. And others like Motochika, Kai and Aya just need to have a certain link their best Pokemon(Dewott/Samurott, Darmanitan, Snorunt/Frosslass respectivley). This game made me like Okuni a little more, since she has a Whirlipede. Whirlipede is awesome.
