HUGE THANKS TO DR. FLOPPY who did all of the music! Besides hacking in some

classic Mario tunes, he also endured my endless rounds of nitpicking and

revisions.

Thanks to Dr. Floppy, Coinheaven and Googie for play testing

This hack has been worked on for several years now, with many people awaiting its final release. Well, it's finally come around! This hack has been carefully tailored to erase any of that weird SMB1 feeling, and the level design is apparently tweaked to feel just like older designs. It should be a nice nostalgic romp for some of the more classic-oriented fans :)

Oh lovely! It does look like it has a bit of that old-nintendo-level-design feeling. Not either super hard like hackers usually like to put or super easy when things doesn't seem to be on control, things seem to be balanced and mostly fun so far. Worthy to be compared with Miyamoto's work. :) Thanks for letting us know of another great hack Celice. :)

Hah, that sounds like it must've been fun :p If you're in the mood for more unique Mario hacks, I have a work-in-progress hack of Super Mario Bros. 3 from DahrkDaiz. He was a very popular romhacker who was actually featured in several gaming magazines, most notably for his radical modifications. The hack I have makes the goal in every level to find all the red coins. He's also known for including completely new suits, like the Cannon Suit, and also new gameplay mechanics like losing oxygen underwater, wall jumping, and lots of other tweaks. It might be fun for you if you liked the differences this hack had in comparison to the original game.

Mario Adventure was also worked on by him, and it's fucking fantastic. There's different weathers for the levels, including rain and snow, which affect how the levels play out. Really prime examples of what ROMhacking used to be about... :(

Download. And apparently it's finished! I only had a demo saved. This is fricken' sweet :)
