I'll start a poll by you guys can guess which release date for FE12 for Outside of Japan and you can think which might be possible to think which of the Release Date you think might going to Release FE12 Outside of Japan when Nintendo might possibly announce FE12 for overseas until they confirm the Overseas Release Date.

And I notice that the new Nintendo Wii Game "Xenoblade Chronicles" released in Japan in 2010 and the North American version is going to be released in April 2012 and plus the other games like (Pokemon Red & Blue released in Japan on 1996 and the US on 1998, the Professor Latyon 2 released in Japan on 2007 and the US on 2009, Professor Latyon 3 released in Japan on 2008 and the US on 2010, Professor Latyon 4 released in Japan on 2009 and the US on 2011, and Super Mario Bros. 3 released in Japan on 1988 and the US on 1990), I possibly think that official translation for this game might be still in developement. So, we might possibly have a chance for FE12 on the DS for Outside of Japan.

My country is not spelt that way.

And yeah they kind of definitely aren't localising it and you should learn to accept this like basically everyone else already has.

Nonexistent time. With FE13's upcoming release, I doubt they're gonna go back to an older game and localise that.

Just play in Japanese in the mean time until the fan patch is done. It's not like the controls are difficult or anything since beyond the few new mechanics it added, it's exactly like Shadow Dragon's.

"The Sacred Stones's" US date came after the "Path of Radiance's" Japanese date. And I did checked on IGN on more DS games:

And there are more DS games coming to 2012. So this might possibly not going to discontinued the DS series.

This means nothing.

Fire Emblem did terribly in North America, after FE8. There will be no FE12 being localized. As such, I will bash my head into the keyboard to provide an accurate representation of my thoughts towards this topic.

This is a guess, not a rumor nor confirmed on the FE12's Overseas release date. This is a guess for fans that wanted FE12 Outside of Japan.

What? I only ever heard that it did well. Not extraordinarily well, but well enough that it was reasonable to expect they were still coming.

Even so, my deadline for believing FE12 might get a North American release date was the end of 2011. I'm afraid I've joined the ranks of "It's not coming."

Welp, FE11 sold $300,000 worth in NA, while both FE9 and 10 sold $240,000 and below o 3 o

FE11 did well in EU, at least, just not well in NA.

And yeah that. After FE8 sales just went dooooowwwwwwnnnn...

And isn't the story exactly the same? Plus MU, of course, but he/she doesn't matter much.

I insist that they'll never release it outside Japan. Meh, I just hope that FE13 won't be like FE8.

It's a sequel. The story, especially when character development is taken into account, is massively better than FE11's.

Gotta agree with Rewjeo, I personally think the story and gameplay blows the brains out of FE11, so if you liked FE11, this should probably be one of the best games you've ever played. Well, according to my basic logic anyway. Yes I realize a lot of the graphics are the same, yet it's just so much better done and used, even if there are just minor palette changes etc...

Given how much work the translation team has done on the game (a LOT) I'd *almost* be disappointed if it got announced. Thankfully I'm not really worrying that all our work is going to waste because there is so much evidence to indict Nintendo of not localizing this game outside of Japan that no matter how much people want to, any "Objections" are simply faint voices saying "WHAT IF?!" amidst a Jury that has already decided on a verdict of "GUILTY OF NOT BEING LOCALIZED".

However I am not stupid enough to deny that there is a chance of it being localized. However, the hope that it is being localized is VERY low, so... that's that.

I am guilty of Phoenix Wright references, that series is too much fun

I just realized... almost all the lamentations and crying over not getting this game is crying over a remake ._. It's not even an original experience you can't get anywhere else. It's been available in English for years now to boot >_>

That's like, deep man.

For the main story you can read FE3B2's script. There are stuff FE3B2 didn't have, though, like supports and things like pre-battle talk (kind like the one in RD except it doesn't give you free stuff unless it's an A rank support convo and it's mostly Jeigan briefing things, I have no clue what he's saying though). I'm just waiting for the translation team to finish their patch so I can read that.

Let's face it though, old Monshou is rather primitive so it drives people away. And I ended up playing it in Japanese because I couldn't get the patch to work as intended.

I don't blame them, anyway. It's an awesome remake of an awesome game.

This madman speaks the truth.

The game's well worth the wait.

Unfortunately, as conveyed by numerous people already, I've personally given up hope on FE12 being released in English officially. If a release is announced, that would be wonderful and bittersweet for the fan translation team, but unless it's an enhanced 3DS port I don't think it would be worth NOA/NOE's investment to release a DS title from a fairly niche series in 2012. FE 3DS on the other hand, NOA/NOE don't let us down >: oooooooooo

I'm usually one not to give up on something....

I've kept my hopes up for this game since it was first introduced...

But it's time to face the facts, we may never get this game unless you buy it from Japan or they port it to 3DS...and I highly doubt the latter will happen sad.gif

However the unofficial translation looks promising and I wish the team working on it the best.

This madman

Silly

All I know is that if the game does get an official localization, this thread will be hilarious in retrospective.

Not quite? We have good reasons to think Nintendo is very unlikely (at best) to ever localize this, after all. In fact, if you consider how long it took to translate the previous installments, it's fair to say an official release would be a change of mind on their side.
