Tables
What would you have to increase Amelia's growths by (assume all growths are increased by the same amount) in order for her to become a viable character in efficient play? Or would she still waste time with 255 growths all around? What about to make her a top (first 2 rounds of choices) in a draft? It's a simple enough question, and sadly, I think I know the answer: Even with 255 growths, she'd never save time, as enemies are so weak and Seth and flyers are so strong that even a capped Amelia would be barely more useful than Seth, but take a while to train up. She'd cost a few turns (even excluding recruiting on Eirika's route to baby her first few levels), and she'd never be able to save any reasonable time. Maybe 1-2 turns in lategame, but even that I doubt. But I think in drafts it could be at least a little more interesting, as growths become more important and Seth's banned-ness means a super-Amelia could actually be a viable pick. So the question is, how super would she have to be? I think somewhere around +30-40% should be enough. She still has a terrible early phase, but she can reasonably grow out of it. Within a few chapters she'd promote to Cav, and have the stats to just about survive on the frontline (~26 HP, 8 DEF, 13 AS with +30%). Then she'd grow quickly, and by easily viable to early promote and solo the endgame (10/10/1 with +30% Amelia has 34.2HP/16.7STR/20.6SPD/13.8DEF). But I'm not sure that much endgame dominance is still enough to justify being a top 10 draft pick.
Blitz
I think Franz would be a better choice than her in a draft.
Tables
Maybe better, but I only said first two rounds. That is, top 10 characters. And above Franz you have, what, Vanessa, Moulder, maybe Natasha & Colm? (I don't actually do enough drafts to know (read as: none))
HF Makalov Fanboy Kai
i still think the biggest issue would be leveling her up effectivly.
MacLovin
Franz Vanessa Tana Cormag Moulder/Natasha (if warps allowed) Colm Kyle Forde Duessel Garcia? Gerik Lute Arthur Saleh Innes? Joshua? Getting her on her first appearance is kinda hard, without Franz/Recue dropped lord. And what about her shit hit and 1-2rkoed-ness?
Anouleth
Many drafts permit you to level Amelia to 10/1 for "free" in the tower to make her more viable.
Blitz
Many drafts permit you to level Amelia to 10/1 for "free" in the tower to make her more viable. how do you train her ALONE in a tower? and I have never played a draft and I plan on playing FE6 as my first draft a month(hopefully less than that) later. Kon
If you're that desperate to level up Amelia quickly it's not really that hard, it just takes a little patience. It may eat up a good number of turns, but in Ephraim's chapter 9 if you keep one of the archers and the priest with the Physic stave alive you can surround the archer and have Amelia pound away at him until she hits level 10 since the priest will stupidly heal the archer whenever his health goes down. Darros
how do you train her ALONE in a tower? One undrafted healer is generally allowed to help.

Darros
They can use any staff their rank permits IIRC. But it's not that bad. Turncounts aren't counted, you can turtle all you want.
