Myrmidon's promotion

Recommended Posts

I've been wondering, how much it would affect the useability of myrmidons in an efficent playtrough if they promoted to rangers/nomadic troopers? First I though it would skyrocket but then I though that while it would fix their movement issues after promotion, it would still leave them with issues before promotion and they would still have range issues. Also as they would lose the crit bonus, I would see for example rutger being worse if he promoted to a ranger. All in all I would like to hear your opinions.

Damn thats right. It would totally make them unuseable on efficent playtrought if they don't have the option to become swordlocked with medicore movement. Thank you from giving your opinion crash, it opened my eyes.

In the next episode bantu soloes FE11. Efficiently!

:/

There's really no need to snap, I'm not saying that it's inefficent or anything else (Where'd the efficiency thing come from anyway?), I'm just saying that I personally would hate that as a REPLACEMENT because I find the Swordmaster class fun sometimes.

Sorry, nevermind on the mentioning efficiency thing.

But another thing, it's still no reason to snap like that and the changes you make for the intent of affecting an efficient run have an effect on everyone.

Also, the second topic is an incredible and unnecessary overreaction. Don't get your panties in a twist.

It would a be a better idea.

But, let them keep the Innate crit from SM.

lol Rutger turning into an Ntrooper with 30% innate crit.

Yes pls.

Do I really need to point out how wrong this idea is on just about every level imagineable?

When the intention is to talk about efficent runs, comments like "I like Swordmasters" are derailment of the matter on hand. I deal with matters as they are, not as people consider nice.

Stop the off-topic stuff. Take it to PMs.

On-topic, Rutger gets ferried a bunch to do his crit-thing. Branched would be better for fe6. As for fe7, 8, and 9, I suppose they would be better off. Particularly where the cirt bonus is only 15 anyway. And then there are the games without a crit bonus...

Pretty bishies with long pretty hair or chicks with nice legs, generally.

I do really like how overkill Lakche can get when not going FE4 efficient, though.

But yeah. Basically what Narga said. Rutger's whole selling point is that FE6 bosses are bitches and 30crit makes them less of a bitch, so if he lost that 30crit, he wouldn't be as good of a bosskiller, which is the whole reason why he's so good. 15% crit in games with less annoying bosses does devalue SMs by a lot, however.
