Chapter 24x

Recommended Posts

Hey.

My gaiden chapter playthrough has been going pretty well. I've already gotten chapters 6x, 12x, 17x, and 20x, and I'm now on chapter 24. I'd like to do the trick to get around the chapter requirements and get two Falchions, etc., but I'm a bit confused about how to do it.

After getting the gaiden chapter, the "hints and secrets" page says to revive Tiki with the Aum staff. Can this be done after chapter 24? I thought the Resurrectory was the only place the Aum staff could be used. Is it possible to use it elsewhere?

Hm? In the older versions it had to be in a specific place? Didn't knew that.

Anyway, yes you can. Of course, you're still restricted to the 1 use, but location is not an issue at least here.

Oh, really? I didn't know that. I thought you had to use it in the place where you got it. Well, that's cool. Time to finish the game. I wonder what my survival score will look like...

You should know there is no Score system in FE: SD

Yes, I see that now... good thing too, because pretty much everyone died. That's makes for a really depressing ending. Not worth the gaiden chapters, IMO, so next time I'm just going to play without them.

What do people do for drafts and ranked runs in this game? Do they just go for low turn counts?

For drafts it is said that is the easiest game to do Drafts, theyaim only for the lowest turncount possible (which is easyto achieve in Normal mode), also being easy to draft and reclass allows some nice things.Ex: Random reclass.

Others may explain better than me though.

Hey, my favorite game to draft~!

In general. . .

- Use Warp and incur the wrath of everyone

- Gaidens are usually mandatory, and free for the first twenty turns

- Normal is played so that Frey and Norne can be in the draft pool

- Reclassing is usually "whatever works"

- Lowest turn count wins

You CAN go get Tiki/real Falchion if you want, but it usually costs a lot of turns for Tiki (as you need to recruit Banban), and getting Starlight costs a turn, as well. The Spheres are amazingly good in drafts; infinite Gradivus that ignores gates makes things a lot easier.

I'm not sure how other draft criteria would work (like EXP drafting).
