Peppy
Dat Rules (borrowed/stolen from Integrity) - Ratings are assumed to be on Hard 1 Mode. - Votes need some explanation regarding their gameplay performance to be counted. If somebody else said what you want to already, quote them explicitly. +/- ≤1 point extra regarding personality/appearance is encouraged, but no more. If you exercise your bias privileges, please do so explicitly. Also, if your vote is already a 10/10 or greater than 9 and you give a full point of bias, The score may not exceed 10! - Numerical votes out of 10, or something proportional to it. Make it easy to calculate for my sake. - Every ranking phase ends from 2100 to 2200 EST. Every ranking phase starts from 2200 EST to 2300 EST. Do the math if you are in another timezone! - I will insist you do not use the "Not X" reason on any character, where X is another unit. If you do, your vote will be thrown out. - "Recruits X" or "takes you to X chapter" arguments are explicitly banned. C'mon, people, this shouldn't need to be a rule. That's not gameplay performance. - Assume that the character in question is being recruited. - Similar to the "Recruits X" rule, do not use "He Comes with a Free Ridersbane" as an argument. - Rate the character based on his/her performance without the Rainbow Potion, Maturity Drop or Bond Drop - I withhold the privilege to tell you your rating is bogus and demand you revise it if it breaks any of the above. I will not throw out votes anonymously, you will be informed and given a chance to revise. Cecil. I don't like using her. Her durability and strength isn't great. She just doesn't shine to me... I will give her a 7, with -0.5 Bias! Averages: Rody: 8.43 Luke: 8.56 Marth: 8.70 My Unit: 9.
Biabarr
8/10 She is ok, but I like Rody and Luke better. Yes she has a horse, but I feel as if her durability and lack of strength usually take away from her usefulness in the battle field. But most of the time her stats are pretty good. eclipse
What happened to Ryan? Not rating this round, because I've never bothered using her.
PKL
Her durability is lol. She also has less training time than the other 2. She has lady sword access on 9 move though, which is cool. And she makes a great peg.knight. 7/
Peppy
Ryan comes in tomorrow, I am doing all the Ch. 1 cav's first!
The_Purple_Knight
7/10 she makes a good mage or peg knight . I personally use her is a back up cleric . I wouldn't recommend her for the long tern though ; There are better paladins , better clerics , and better mages then her .
Bluedoom
Cecil, the third earlygame cav you get. She's pretty... underwhelming, in fact. Has never stood out in my playthroughs, perhaps that durability really kicks her in the gut. You can reclass her to a mage and get an earlygame magic user who has zero durability(which is ok, I guess. She'll become a pain in the ass later on, however) or you can reclass her to peggy. She's kinda good in this class, but she doesn't hit as hard as Cavalier/Paladin and is EVEN LESS durable. She's fairly medicore, her good growth being spd really. In fact I think a lvl 3 Luke/Rody have better or equal stats to Cecil. Her bases in Str and Def are poor and the growth's aren't fantastic either. Plus she can't abuse the pirate class for growths like how males can. Cain/Luke are much better sword using cavaliers(and Cain's bases are better considering this is H1 and overkill spd is not in much demand). Cecil cant really compare to Caeda(wing spear), Palla(insta Silver Lance) and Catria(haxgrowth unit). She's good in drafts, but I'm not considering a draft for my rating. She's just deent, but does not have game breaking potential. 6/10, with bias, 5.5/
Thor Odinson
Man Cecil why do you have less Defense than somebody who has 5% in def ramblerambleramblegirlsonlyrunrambleyesMalicebeatherinDefbutthenagainMalicehasbase13asacavsoramble But yeah. Decent offense. Shit defense. Access to Lady Sword which is cool. Isn't as good as Luke/Rody but isn't bad either. Perfectly serviceable unit. Does have option of going General on a few chapters where move isn't that valued to try for a few more def points after promotion, which is nice. 7/
Crazy Foxie
I personally prefer Cecil over Luke and Rody. She brings a lot of items just when you're about to run out and her access to a lady sword makes her stronger than the other two. She may take a while to train up and that, but I find her a decent unit to use. But there and again, I'm biased to the 'original crew'. 7/
Dark Sage
What the hell are you people smoking? Cecil isn't OHKO'd in this mode and it's quite easy to raise both her and Luke at the same time (I did it before on Maniac Mode). She also has access to the Lady Sword unlike the other two cavs as well and has some rocking speed. Possibly even better than Luke. 9/
