"The greatest irony of life is that it goes on."

Recommended Posts

I always saw that phrase as some ultimate truth. I thought I knew it, and I thought what it meant. But I didn't, not at all. Today, I saw it applied. I'm not even sure what hit me harder. Seeing the coffin was a fucking blow to the nuts, yes, but when I got out of the place and heard the birds singing, it hit me like a fucking hammer. I had to sit down. I witnessed life going on. The birds were singing and the grass was no less green. Everything was just like it was before, except for a couple hundred people. And all the while I had "Here comes the sun" ringing in my head. What a fucking load of shit.

Does this, by any chance, have to do with a tornado? :< Because a lot of people's houses (including some of my friends) were destroyed while they were at school/work.

Poetry bro.

We exist to cease.

I personally think that that is a breathtakingly beautiful thing.

Unless you're the person who gets hit by the realization while you are in extreme pain at the moment.

I mean I kinda do too but it's still kinda sad to think how the world doesn't realize what you or anyone else just lost.
