Today, I saw it applied. I'm not even sure what hit me harder. Seeing the coffin was a fucking blow to the nuts, yes, but when I got out of the place and heard the birds singing, it hit me like a fucking hammer. I had to sit down. I witnessed life going on. The birds were singing and the grass was no less green. Everything was just like it was before, except for a couple hundred people. And all the while I had "Here comes the sun" ringing in my head. Unless you're the person who gets hit by the realization while you are in extreme pain at the moment.
