Peppy
Dat Rules (borrowed/stolen from Integrity) - Ratings are assumed to be on Hard 1 Mode. - Votes need some explanation regarding their gameplay performance to be counted. If somebody else said what you want to already, quote them explicitly. +/- ≤1 point extra regarding personality/appearance is encouraged, but no more. If you exercise your bias privileges, please do so explicitly. Also, if your vote is already a 10/10 or greater than 9 and you give a full point of bias, The score may not exceed 10! - Numerical votes out of 10, or something proportional to it. Make it easy to calculate for my sake. - Every ranking phase ends from 2100 to 2200 EST. Every ranking phase starts from 2200 EST to 2300 EST. Do the math if you are in another timezone! - I will insist you do not use the "Not X" reason on any character, where X is another unit. If you do, your vote will be thrown out. - "Recruits X" or "takes you to X chapter" arguments are explicitly banned. C'mon, people, this shouldn't need to be a rule. That's not gameplay performance. - Assume that the character in question is being recruited. - Similar to the "Recruits X" rule, do not use "He Comes with a Free Ridersbane" as an argument. - Rate the character based on his/her performance without the Rainbow Potion, Maturity Drop or Bond Drop - I withhold the privilege to tell you your rating is bogus and demand you revise it if it breaks any of the above. I will not throw out votes anonymously, you will be informed and given a chance to revise. He isn't that great. He is practically inferior to Barst if you look at his bases and his growths so i shall give him a 5/10 Averages: Warren: 4.35 Gordin: 6.33 Arran: 6.62 Cecil: 7.21 Ryan: 7.71 Draug: 8.14 Rody: 8.43 Luke: 8.56 Marth: 8.70 Malliesia: 9.50 Catria: 9.73 My Unit: 9.
eclipse
He's so very frail. . .I guess he might cut it on a horse, but D lances bleh. 4/
Bluedoom
You see, cord in FE11 was actually useful since he had an existent spd growth and his str growth was the best out of the three fighters you get in the beginning. Here? He sux balls. He has an E rank with every darn weapon, has an inferior str to Barst and Bord(and Fighter! Luke/Rody would be better), and his only selling point is his Spd growth, which is kinda nice, and yet it matches Luke's growth. See, E rank is one thing, but okish growths and bases is another. In fact, I'm interested to know how Fighter! Yubello would fair against Cord, oonsidering he forfeit's 20% str growth for a 20% def growth lead. Anyway, rating: 4/
Arch
10/10. Best axeman ever. I need only Cord, and no other. He's like a glass cannon; and one playthrough he just absolutely TORE through the game. He's definitely deserving of a perfect score in my honest opinion, after performing an excellent solo run.

Have you tried Barst... He has better Growths than cord, Save Speed and he also comes with Better Bases too! Also, D Axes compared to E Axes... Not really worthy of a 10/10... Truly a fine showing, Arch. This is how GameFAQs rates Nino/Est/Trainees/Sophia,etc. As for Cord, well, he's easily replacable by many, many other units, but he makes an okay Pirate, though that's a highly contested class. Low weapon ranks really hurt him, though. Sure, he's fast, but he doesn't have too much STR... 4/10 for being quite usable, but very mediocre. Biabarr
4/10 -1 = 3/10 Mediocre ax man is mediocre. He actually doesn't have the normal axe user problem of all strength and no speed or accuracy. He is also very frail and has a sucky weapon rank for all them weapons. Minus a bias point for coming in as an axeuser and being easily confused either his almost lacking a personality brothers (I still mess up which one is which...) The_Purple_Knight
3/10 god he's fragile and his growths certainly don't warrant the hassle it takes it raise him up . Hes weapon rank also isn't helping him .

LeaderR Elliot
While probably is too late and I dont mind...(I though this was H2 that is why I didnt voted) Let me say First Cord is the only Generic Character you get for free, why? he doesnt have a weapon rank in anything! He must build it himself like a man! In a game where you can forge an Irons everytime when using Cord you will forge him something. He Might get D axes at worst when Barst shows up! He should reasonably get exp by his own from that point. A general rule is promotin in Chp 9. After that he has accesto draco but everyone wants to be a Draco in the next chapters... BUT most of Draco unlike Cord uses lances which are good but a flying axe user is always welcomed. If you are seriously using him... he might get B axes by chp 13 allowing him to use that chp 12 Silver Axe. He is a good substitute character and a good pick for drafts. 7/10 bias included.
