Rehab
I forget the magazine I read it from, but I remember reading an article about the world champion of imitating barks. He said the trick is to inhale, rather than exhale. I thought it just sounded completely silly, but I tried it (relatively quietly) while out on a walk with my dog, and she started looking around with her ears perked up, like she would if she actually heard some dog barking. nyuck nyuck

Gonna test it on my friend's dog next time I go to his house.
Acacia Sgt
Is your cat female? I heard that females can 'bark' when they're in heat.
