(I've only played FE7-11) (This also includes some characters because I like them/it's fun using them, I don't know if that's allowed) Assuming availability doesn't matter, FE7: Nino, Pent, Hector, Sain, Rath, Athos, Lucius, Farina, Dart, Raven, and Harken FE8: Cormag (Wyvern Lord), Gerik (Hero) , Franz (Great Knight), Kyle (Great Knight), Ephraim, Joshua (Swordmaster), Tana (Wyvern Knight), and Myrrh FE10: Tibarn, Giffca, Caineghis, Naesala, Nailah, Edward, Nolan, Volke, Shinon, Muarim, Ike, Haar, Stefan, Skrimir, Gatrie, and Gareth. FE11: Barst (Warrior), Sedgar (General), Wolf (Hero) The more the merrier. Muarim, Gareth, and Skrimir get the laguz enhancing items, anyone who can staffbot will staffbot, flyers and cavalry do there stuff and pwn, less fast people get brave weapons, Laguz royals do what they do, etc. Probably should've included refreshers, but my type of strategy (failing) doesn't use them as well as they could be used.
