Hawk King Posted July 14, 2012 Share Posted July 14, 2012 Like I said, with just Titania, Kieran, and Tanith to escort transformed Reyson I could get 6 turns pretty easily, and I havent given the boots to anyone yet. 6 turns is a guarantee, and with Muarim, Mordy, Lethe, to shove/smite the mounts, and other footies to shove Reyson, 5 turns might even be possible. It would be hard though. On EP 6 there are 3 transformed Ravens who will self-destruct. So you only need to kill 4 UNtransformed Ravens when PP 6 ends. For a 5 turn you would need to kill 5 UNtransformed Ravens when PP 5 ends. Stealing that 1st bolting might even be possible on turn 4 if you can get the Sage to switch tomes on turn 3. The mounts and Reyson should be past Shinon on turn 3 so they wont be targeted. Hmmm, I kinda wish I could try this now... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You use the word "can" a lot, so I get the impression you haven't done it yet, though I could be wrong. If you have, I might do another playthrough later on because this is a quick game for me. I think I may be able to cut one more turn from 28 as well, so hopefully it'll be worth it. I'll also look for a few more turns to cut, if that's even possible. I mean, I know that you dropped like, every single point of BEXP you could into Marcia at Chapter 10, but after trying it out, I was able to almost promote Oscar even at Chapter 8, so I figured that you had to have used a little bit of BEXP before Marcia in order to have only just barely had enough to promote her. Of course, now I realized that Titania may have been at a lower level than my Oscar was, as he was Level 7 by the time I got to Chapter 8. And then of course, you only had Ike at Level 11 or something by the time you were getting close the Chapter 17, so I knew you couldn't have BEXPed Ike before then, and I also knew that you were trying to get Oscar promoted by Chapter 17, so I logiced that out. But that still leaves me confused as to when Illyana, Kieran, and Mia got BEXP, so that's why I asked. I'm sorry if I came across like I was being yet another doubter of your work, I mean, believe me, I know what that's like. I remember trying to convince a whole bunch of guys at Gamefaqs that the Fighter/Fighter/RedMage/RedMage party was faster at beating Final Fantasy 1 than a Fighter/Fighter/Fighter/Red Mage, but no one would listen to me, to the point where I had to create two simeltaneous playthroughs to try to prove that I was right... I would've said something earlier, but I couldn't find the exact threads where I had those big arguments with the guys at Gamefaqs. But, I'll dig them up if you wish. Anyway, Kieran and Oscar both got equal amounts of bexp while they were aroudn (Kieran got a bit more early on to catch up to Oscar). Ilyana and Mia got random bexp throughout every chapter.
