Looking for criticism.

Hello there!

I desire to be a good map maker, but for that I need critiques. So I'm going to put a map here and you tell me if it looks good or if it needs some changes so that it looks more realistic (which I think that will be the major problem).

I would really apreciate the critiques.

The roads look really unnatural, and the forests shouldn't have holes in it, and the thicket should be in the middle, in a clump.

Oh, and the river on the right looks unnatural as well. The mountain could use either a deletion or an expansion, it's just kinda there in the corner and isn't doing much. The cliffs in the upper left look kinda off too. One phrase I can say that pretty much TL;DR's my whole critique, id that there are no straight lines in nature.

It's a good start for sure, but could use some refinement.

Tile spam everywhere. Start with smaller maps, Outdoor maps need to be random while still being technically correct. Straight lines and patterns are generally bad. Prime has a tutorial in spriter's resource, check it out if you haven't already.

SgtSmilies@: Alright. I've already fixed the forest (I think). The other parts I'll fix them when I have more free time.

Thank you very much for the critiques.

Kitty of Time@: Hmmm I guess I overused them then. I'll fix that in a moment.

deranger@: I did saw his tutorial, it's just that maps that are this big are always a problem for me. "Outdoor maps need to be random while still being technically correct" I'll keep that in mind. Thanks
