"DLC's that are free" = "Spotpass" chapters Spotpass chapters are unlocked via connecting to the internet and going on your communications menu: By selecting one after Chapter 25, a chapter will appear on your world map: With an orange-ish color. If you want the past FE characters Spotpass, you simply select the character to appear from the communications menu and they'll appear on the world map to battle. DLC is at the otherworld gate: They are ALL paid DLC unless you got the free Marth DLC promo when the game first came out.
