At least we might see a renaissance in the EU and the world of Star Wars video games, as followed the release of the last movies, and that could be a good thing. Of course, this acquisition might also mean the complete "Clone Warsization" of the Star Wars canon, but even in that case most of us will probably pay to see the next Star Wars movie just because it's Star Wars, so you could say that the deal will definitely have been a success in the short term at least.
