Elieson
Mounts could not use two-range weaponry? Aside from bows like for Astrid / Sue etc Edited November 14, 2012 by Elieson
Gold Vanguard
As long as they can tank then i'm ok with it.
Original Alear
Not even a discus...? Obviously there'd probably be a few with magic. Eh, I'm sure it'd be OK.
CrashGordon94
It would make things more balanced, but it would still suck.
Rehab
I'd find it a bit odd, and I'd be interested in what explanation the game gives, since javelins at least weren't uncommon weapons for cavalry in history. A penalty, or inability to use higher-level non-bow ranged weapons, might be a bit more explainable.
Anouleth
It would make things more balanced, but it would still suck. I think that Noish, Kein, Treck, Amelia, Makalov, Roshea, Matthis, and Sol aren't characters in need of "nerfing".
Melonhead
Could be interesting, and you would see horses not get that much use, aside from front lines or killing stray enemies.

And Fiona is, apparently? Besides, Makalov doesn't have much in the way of two-range, anyway (so why is he even on that list?). Fiona is so bad you could get rid of 1-2 without making her significantly worse. I guess Makalov also might not be that hurt by losing 1-2 compared to other cavs, though. PKL
Uh, pretty sure FE9 Makalov loves his Hand Axe forges, same with FE10 Mak.

I just picked a bad Paladin pretty much at random from FE3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12.
Original Alear
Uh, pretty sure FE9 Makalov loves his Hand Axe forges, same with FE10 Mak. Hmmmm. I dunno about forges, but I think it's a safe bet that every mounted unit in FE9 that can use a hand axe forge loves it, or loves hand axes. That's all I can say on the subject. I certainly don't know FE9 well enough to know if Makalov loves handaxe forges more than the other horsies love 1-2 range.
MacLovin
They'd still break the game. Look at fe4!Aless, he doesn't need the magic swords or Javvys to break it.
