Rehab Posted November 22, 2012 Author Share Posted November 22, 2012 That was definitely my reaction to hearing it first in Consumer Reports, yeah, and I never saw the exact study cited, but they kinda went into it in a little more on NPR- they didn't say "85% higher," but they did say something like "considerably higher," talked about the body can only handle about 600mg of calcium at once, where supplements tend to give like 1000+.
