Periodic Table of the Fire Emblem Elements

When seeing the periodic table of final fantasy, I admired the author Rafi so much and decided to make one for our frie emblem. As the 13th FE game "Awakening" was released this year, FE worlds have got more and more characters to match the periodic table.

First of all, I listed every playable characters, NPCs and antagonists through all the FE games (including the manga: Hasha no Tsurugi), getting over 480 persons, and classsfied them into 5 groups according to their importance in the story. Group 1 included all the main characters (m/f), famous warriors, and main antagonists. I must match them with chemical elements as hard as possible. The remaining elements would subsequently be matched with Group 2, Group 3... till Group 5.

After that, you would find some elements were left, such as Mg, Zn, Pb, Pd, Db, Yb, Sb, Hf...It's nearly impossible to find a person having the 2 letters in his name, so I have to find several alternatives.

On the other hand, some famous characters could hardly find their elements. Roy, the simplest example, couldn't find any element named R, Ro, or Ry. I wondered whether it is lucky or unlucky, Roy got Oxygen at last. MiCaiah got Carbon for the same reason. Leaf and Lyon just met the same problem. For their japanese names could be translated as Riifu and Rion, they got Rf and Rn.

As a final point, I made a web page to dynamically show the periodic table of fire emblem, just similar to Rafi's. You may find every characters have their classes. In order to present some kind of class diversity, they're not necessarily the classes in game, sometimes just as unique symbols for the characters, such as Mad King, Ice Dragon, Solar/Lunar Lord and so on.

If you ever want to edit stuff, here's a couple of suggestions:

1. Mg = Meg

2. Yb = Yubello

3. Hf - There's a generic boss with a name that fits, but who cares 'bout them?

4. Pb - see above

5. Pd = generic Paladin portrait (FE11/12 should work)

Otherwise, I find this highly amusing.
