Zenairo
So, I've been following some of the editor guides for event assembly, but I realized that I at the latest version and the ones I've been following are V7~, So I was wondering if someone had posted a tutorial for the most up-to-date version of Event Assembly? Thanks in Advanced!
CT075
it's called "EA language.txt"
zahlman
it's called "EA language.txt" That's documentation, you can't really call it a tutorial. That said, the old tutorials are still valid, in that the game code still works the same way and you're going to produce the same events. Newer versions just like, fix bugs, and give more meaningful names to event codes, and add more macros to the EAstdlib.
CT075
to directly answer the question there isn't a more up-to-date version of the ea tutorial in the end the only thing you're going to have to do is check the aforementioned text file (or the EAstdlib macro list) to make sure that the commands are current

Except for FE8, which was hanged quite radically (and will change even more if someone would start figuring stuff out...). EDIT: I meant to say changed, but hanged fits in this case, too... Zenairo
So I shouldn't even try to hack FE 8? :/.
CT075
you could learn it on your own
Alfred Kamon
So I shouldn't even try to hack FE 8? :/. Well... It's hard. There is no much documentation for it, so you pretty much have to figure things out by yourself. If you don't want to spend hours trying to understand how the game works, then just go for FE7. Most of the community hack FE7 because it's easier, there is much more documentation and, as far as I know, also has LOTS of more conditional events and other stuff that might add some spice to the chapters. Why the hell am I even hacking FE8, sigh It's also true that FE8 has unique stuff and a great potential, but at the moment it's not the best choice for a beginner.
