What Fire Emblem Game(s) are you Currently Playing?

I never saw the need to keep raising them. They were always strong when they promoted early, for any character, in Gaiden, and it's just a quicker way to get Cliff into a better fighting-shape. Thunder gets him more of a chance to hit, as he can attack from three spaces away once he learns the spell.

When I noticed archers can counter and hit three spaces away I was really annoyed but since thunder can do that too I'll be alright :)

Heh, archers with steel bows can attack from 5 spaces away :) . Makes them practically ballistae.

Yeah, bows give great range to the units. And the Thunder Sword is also long range, and makes any one powerful. Personally, I gave it to Robin, who I had made a Swordfighter this playthrough, as Alm can do about the same without it. He does about 15HP twice of damage, which is great ^^
