Psych
Why does the Levin Sword cast a Thunder spell? Levin from FE4 had that whole wind thing going on, which is where I assume they wanted to reference. So it just throws me off that the sword is thunder. Othin
The Japanese name is just Thunder Sword. For some reason, the FE11 translators decided to rename it to Levin Sword. At the time, Levin didn't even exist in the translated language. We still don't know what they've decided to officially do with him now, in FE13. Dandragon
Probably because of what they did in Shadow Dragon. But that's the only reason I can think of.
Ritsuioko23
In Shadow dragon it did a lighting spell, thats what the sword is to me.
Book of Ereshkigal
What does Levin mean in that context, anyway?
NinjaMonkey
Why does the Levin Sword cast a Thunder spell? The blade of the sword resembles a bolt of lightning (at least it does in Awakening). So, given that it is a magic sword, one could easily make the (correct) assumption that said sword would cast Thunder magic.
Kaze
The Levin sword resembled a lightning bolt in Shadow Dragon as well.
VincentASM
Levin apparently means lightning or thunderbolt. Maybe "Thunder Sword" didn't fit in the space?
