Sundus64
So I have this phone: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Fr0mIiiItGw/TWymbGKAFQI/AAAAAAAAAmI/6w2X64gjc7o/s1600/LG_C320i.jpg And I had LG earphones along with it. It was an 3.5 mm earphones so my brother kept using it and it got messed up now it doesn't work. RIP. I bought another ear phone and it had a aDh on it I don't know what type it is, so I try to listen to music on my phone it couldn't support everything and the volume wasn't so high unlike my old ones it can hear everything. So what I thought the difference was is that the new earphones where the plug area is is a little higher than my old one. It was tall by a teeny tiny bit. And the new ones worked on my mom's Nokia C3 QWERTY phone (not fair) and then I remembered that my computer head phones worked on my phone and it wasn't LG it was a normal headphone so my question is can any 3.5 mm earphone of other phones (like Samsung, iPhone, Blackberry,) work on my phone if it's 3.5 mm. Does the name of the company have to match with my phone or it has to be exactly 3.5 mm because the aDh didn't work on my phone and I couldn't tell if it was 2.5mm or 3.5..... And please anyone with answers please reply, if you don't have the answers or gonna say idk idk idk then back off I am not in the mood for those. Jyosua
Headphones are headphones. As long as it fits, it works. The only exceptions are for higher impedance headphones, but those cost quite a bit of money since those are normally high end.

Jyosua
You could always get a headphone amplifier.
Sundus64
What is a head phone amplifier?
Jyosua
It amplifies the sound before reaching your headphones... The name of the device is pretty fucking self explanatory.
Sundus64
My question is can any 3.5 mm earphones go with my phone because it has 3.5mm jack so for example if I bought an iphone 3.5 mm earphones would it go with my phone or does it HAVE to be LG? Jyosua
I already said yes... 3.5mm is universal, unless you're using an earpiece with a microphone. But even then, it should still work. Those are generally 2.5mm anyhow.
Sundus64
How can I tell if head phones are 2.5 mm or 3.5 mm ?
Jyosua
By measuring the diameter! Why else do you think it's called 3.5mm? Even easier is just by plugging it in. If it snaps in and fits snug, it's the right size.
Sundus64
The new earphones I bought plugged into my comp, phone and 3ds put perfectly into my mom's phone and it worked perfectly but on my 3d, phone and comp the sound wasn't good.
