Hardin
Today Nintendo has revealed that Fire Emblem: Gaiden will be coming to the 3DS eShop in Japan next week. The game will be available for 500yen, starting on April 3. http://www.nintendo.co.jp/3ds/eshop/vc/tcgj/index.html
shadowofchaos
Wow. I'm definitely getting it then.
Gryz
Meanwhile, the rest of the world will be lucky if FE7 ever becomes available in the eShop.
Acacia Sgt
Interesting. Well, I suppose it was a matter of time, while the induced-awareness for Gaiden thanks to Awakening is still in the air. Meanwhile, the rest of the world will be lucky if FE7 ever becomes available in the eShop. I hope it happens. Though personally I'm more concern that if it does, it will be in the Wii U's eShop rather than the 3DS's. Unless they decide to reopen GBA availability on the latter's eShop, and not just Ambassador exclusive stuff.
Gryz
Oh! But if FE7 is released on the WiiU the game gets access to Miiverse! You can interact with other Fire Emblem fans online! Gee, I wish there was a website where you could do that now.
Acacia Sgt
lol Well, to me it's a concern since I don't think I'm getting a Wii U any time soon. So I'd wish that if it does, it gets also released in the 3DS's eShop. Oh well, time will tell if GBA games will be available for purchased from it like with the Wii U's. Fruity Insanity
Whelp. There goes my money. Why does the eShop look so much better in Japanese??? Edited March 30, 2013 by FranticforFreeFruityFruit
shadowofchaos
Why does the eShop look so much better in Japanese??? It looks exactly the same to me in English. XD
Emeraldfox
I wonder if they'll translate it and bring it over. Like, Gaiden already has some exposure over here thanks to Awakening(and Brawl, I think). Ehhh.

Ehhh. Brawl did have one of it's music tracks, but I forget if it had stickers of any sort.
King Marth 64
Brawl did have one of it's music tracks, but I forget if it had stickers of any sort. I don't think there was any stickers that have any Gaiden characters shown. Edited March 30, 2013 by King Marth
VincentASM
Casual players won't know Awakening's inspired by Gaiden. Besides, FE1's been available on the FE3DS VC for some time and there's even an English translation for that (thanks to Shadow Dragon on the DS) but, as you can see, nothing's happened. Besides that, the front page of this site didn't have the info about Gaiden is coming to the Japanese 3DS Virtual Console. Shouldn't that be consider to be noted to everyone about this? VincentASM
No, because it's irrelevant to most people. Not just because you need a Japanese 3DS to play the game.
King Marth 64
No, because it's irrelevant to most people. Actually, I do recall the info about the Shadow Dragons and Blade of Light 3DS Virtual Console was did noted in the front page a couple of months ago (when it was announced), I think Gaiden might need it in there also. VincentASM
Was it? I don't actually remember X D Maybe it was a really quiet week and I nothing better to write about? But anyway, I'm sure the people whom this news really benefits I can't grammar would find out the news from other places. Like their 3DS eShop. BTW did you know FE3 was available on the Wii U VC? Sadly, it's period of availability has expired. Edited March 30, 2013 by VincentASM
shadowofchaos
Wii U VC That's kind of the problem for me. I have no reason right now to own ANY region's Wii U. The only thing going for me right now is Pikmin 3. Edited March 30, 2013 by shadowofchaos

shadowofchaos
what region? Obviously it was the Japanese Wii U console VC for FE3, and Japanese 3DSs for FE1 NES VC. Edited March 30, 2013 by shadowofchaos
Ike-Mike
FE3 has spawned a new amusing Nintendo Channel episode of Game Center CX nonetheless.
Garteam
Meanwhile, the rest of the world will be lucky if FE7 ever becomes available in the eShop. No one thought that Sacred Stones would be part of the ambassador program on 3DS, so I guess there's always hope, sorta. Now Earthbound on the other hand... Othin
Decided to give it a try. I'm partway through Ch2 so far, and it's fun so far. I feel like the simplicity really benefits it: it doesn't try to be something it's not.
Heroic Halberdier Samuel
Look Nintendo look! WE ALL WANT THIS! EVERYONE!
Dwalin2010
Maybe it's a dumb question, but does it mean it will have improved 3d graphics or will it be the same pictures on a different console?
