Topaz Light
So, since I've so far taken a good deal of joy in collecting StreetPass characters (especially the random ones I can claim as my own), I thought it would be interesting to ask you guys what sorts of StreetPass encounters you've had. What characters did you meet? Did you recruit them, buy their stuff or just dismiss them? If you recruited them, did you use them or just bench them; how did they perform? If you bought stuff from them, what sorts of stuff did you get? Obviously, as the OP, it's my responsibility to begin with my own story, so I think I shall: My very first SpotPass encounter was with a man named Levi, whose Avatar was tremendously powerful, with all stats maxed (save Resistance which was (note the past tense) a mere point away from its cap), and popped up right on top of the Longfort, blocking my wimpy early-game team from getting Reeking Boxes to build funds. So I spent all day in Champions of Yore 1, building money to pay the 29,500G necessary to recruit Levi to my team. In the end, I succeeded, and recruited Levi. He's proven himself quite useful for sequence breaking the DLC (in the context of the main game) to get me the characters far earlier than I'm supposed to. Not to mention he has the added bonus of a cool appearance and voice. I've also received plenty of random StreetPass characters (eleven so far) who will be detailed along with Levi in the following spoiler box: [spoiler=StreetPass Roster]Notes: All blank (-----) entry fields will not be included in the below profiles. Appearance: Male, Build 2, Face 2, Hair 4, Hair Color 2 It's sort of a silly goal of mine to at some point be able to make a whole FE cast out of randomized StreetPass characters, which would require at least 20 (for a short FE) but 29 is also a nice goal, that being Fire Emblem Gaiden's headcount; the lowest in the series, obviously not counting BSFE. If/when I achieve this goal, I might make a hack starring them, when my hacking skills become... existent. Of course, they'll all be characterized and able to support each other and all that cool stuff. Should be interesting at least. shadowofchaos
This isn't really practical on their screen when they pair up, but... Trollolololololololololol. I.M. Gei
so I had my first StreetPass death last Monday, but it was because I was careless; I forgot Noble Rapiers do effective damage against pegasi, so I left my Avatar in range of a Lucina with a forged Noble Rapier, she procced Aether, I didn't get a Dual Guard, she didn't miss either hit at 71% and 40 damage, and the rest is history. I faced a StreetPass team yesterday I'd beaten about three weeks ago, and I swear this time they were out to get me; almost everything had Tomebreaker. Also about three weeks ago, I saw my own Avatar on another dude's StreetPass team and turned over the decision of whether or not to make Lucina commit matricide to IRC. I dunno why, but I've also seen some teams that clearly have been set up (e.g. they have cards and pairings and whatnot), but had hacked weapons (e.g. 22 MT Thorons). Vyse
I've had about 23 encounters so far and with a total of nine being human. Defeated and recruited every single Spotpass/streetpass avatar that showed up on the world map (except a few that hold buyable Rift Doors)-- I don't use the recruited avatars though. Just for the thrill of the fight and the renown. Whoever runs into my team should avoid battling them for their sakes Edited April 4, 2013 by Niflheim
shadowofchaos
Whoever runs into my team should avoid battling them for their sakes No matter how OP you think you are, you will always have the disadvantage as the opposing streetpass team: 1. Crappy AI 2. No Doubling/Pair up
Vyse
No matter how OP you think you are, you will always have the disadvantage as the opposing streetpass team: 1. Crappy AI 2. No Doubling/Pair up Yeah, those are the problems. OP stats help a little though. Example: My brother fought my team yesterday and he inflicted 6 damage to Say'ri. Then Emmeryn wasted Goddess Staff on her. -_-
Integrity
I've never encountered a StreetPass team. Probably has something to do with keeping the 3DS at home.

Ace Tactician
I've never encountered a StreetPass team. Probably has something to do with keeping the 3DS at home. Me neither. Probably has to do with keeping my 3DS at home, and not going to the right places to get any FE13 streetpasses... I've gotten streetpasses, just not any FE13 ones. Unless I'm supposed to have the game active when I put my 3DS in sleep mode.

You can still pick up Awakening streetpasses even when the game isn't active.
Silver Lightning
I mentioned this before in another thread, but I recently went to an anime con and got invaded by streetpass teams, I think around 50 or so. A good number were jokes, but equal in number were some that put up a tough fight. I still have 4 or 5 left on my world map that I haven't attempted because I'm still maxing out people and judging by their renown and stats, I would take some casualties at least even with Pair up. I only actually met one of the streetpassers at the con, and he was joking about how his team was "still behind" since he was pairing people slowly for the children and that his would be easy to defeat. This turned out to be a very terrible joke; I later find his team on the first chapter of the game (his name was Rain) and his renown was OVER NINE THOUSAND with most if not all of his characters maxed with forged weapons. Needless to say, I'm saving him for last; his is the most powerful team I have come across among the plethora of teams I've gone through. If that constitutes "being behind" then I'm clearly not playing this game right..... >_>
Faye
I max out the stats of my men in my StreetPass team, but they're mostly for selling good stuff, like rare weapons and stat-boosting items, as well as a Rift Door and a Seed of Trust. I even have My Unit greet everyone with "Need a Rift?" Bad pun ahoy, haha. I never battle any StreetPass team except my sisters, I buy items from SP teams. I remember the first time I fought my sister's StreetPass team. At the time, I was still leveling my 10-chosen units for SP, bu my sister had already maxed out the stats of all her men. D8; Her Stahl had 52 defense. In fact, all of her team was defense-oriented. My men could barely scratch them with swords, so I had to kill her team with tomes. Tormod
The only teams I pick up on Streetpass belong to my roommate and friend who have FE13. I finished the game well before them but they currently have a far stronger team than I do ):

Bearemy
I know one of the teams I faced after StreetPassing people at Sakura Con had a Gerome with all breaker skills. I just dragon stoned him to death.
Pokemonaces
I have met several Streetpass along y area. Most of them were pretty easy though since unlike me and another friend I have, they don't seem to play7 the game seriously enough to focus on the characters. As for me, well I created a streetpass team that's completely composed of Street pass characters I met. When I had my friend challenge them. He lost once, then on his second run lost all but his main character. He was playing on Casual
pinkbubblegum
No matter how OP you think you are, you will always have the disadvantage as the opposing streetpass team: 1. Crappy AI 2. No Doubling/Pair up Yeah, this is sadly very true. There's also the fact that facing against Streetpass would allow you to configure your skills to counter whatever they have equipped accordingly. Breaker skills are pretty great in fending off strong Streetpass teams xD
