Djing
Can someone explain the mechanics and uses for this skill? I don't think the main site does a very good job at that.
Momentai~
It's used to increase support rank by four levels. That's pretty much it. http://www.serenesforest.net/fe13/dual.html Did you see the description on the page above? I think it's pretty clear on what it does
Djing
So the only practical use of it is to artificially create an A support?
Momentai~
Well, an S support depending on the circumstances. It's 4 on top of whatever rank they have with those adjacent and paired up with them. I just tested it out with Panne and Cherche (they can't support) and they received a rank 5 bonus (the regular rank 1 bonus +4 from the skill). It's rather useful with units that the skill user can't support with as it's basically +10 to hit, avoid, crit rate, and crit evade. Its use wanes as you build support because from then on it's only +5 to each of the aforementioned stats until the support level cap of 12. Deshiva
Sorta nice for dlc units, getting decent support bonuses in pair ups

Tables
As a rough approximation: If it's on a unit with supports, it's about +5 to hit, avoid, crit and dodge If it's on a unit without supports, it's about +10 to the above instead. +5 hit, +10 avoid, crit and dodge In both cases, these apply to both the unit with the skill and their partner while teamed up. Overall it's a pretty nice skill - those bonuses are small but they add up together, and especially the fact it boosts your partner is good. Psych
It's probably the best thing to pass down if the mother has access to Troubadour and not Pegasus and you still want to pass down a gender locked skill.
Tamanoir
Just a question... Does it stack with itself ? Concretely do you gain +8 Support ranks if both have Dual Support + ?
shadykid
Just a question... Does it stack with itself ? Concretely do you gain +8 Support ranks if both have Dual Support + ? nope, you can't stack Dual Attack+ and Dual Guard+ either (if you were wondering)
paladin21
It's probably the best thing to pass down if the mother has access to Troubadour and not Pegasus and you still want to pass down a gender locked skill. Except Miriel if Laurent doesn't have access to the Priest class, since she should be passing Renewal. It's like Gaius and Sol. If his daughter won't be able to learn Sol herself, he should pass it down.
