Xavier noted that, for the time being at least, they were falling back slightly. Once again after urging Fare into the air he looker around for a relatively safe place to land that may be a slightly defensive position as well. That was when he noticed the troubadour going to heal Fia, who had apparently already been downed despite being so sure of herself. "Well better go help out I guess..." Xavier mumbled to himself as he urged Fare towards the enemy cavalier.

"...Yikes, that was fast." Helen spoke, eyes forcedly open, still trying to pull herself together. If she kept being slow to act, she'd probably fare worse than Fia unfortunately did. She raised her postured and had her pegasus start flying again.

Helen moves to (24,4) and charges at the Mercenary (24,5. B) wielding her Iron Halberd, pulling back to (19,4) afterwards.

Not particularly willing to stick his neck out as Fia had done, Calden retreats behind his teammates, safe for now, at least. He could reinforce whatever side needed his help later, but he needed to still be standing in order to do it.

The archer girl had already been hit bad, but it looked like Sophia had managed to get to her before anything worse could happen. Not wanting to let the bastards get another free shot at her, Kris moved into action.

After knocking the rider off his horse, he turns to Kristoph. "Can you get that one?" he called, indicating the pirate who was almost upon them. Letting him run amok behind their lines wouldn't do them any good, especially with how far back they were being forced.

Hans threw a curse out towards the tin men, who seemed to be terrible at their job, as they kept having to retreat! How was he meant to sleep if they kept moving away, leaving him in danger? He decided it was best to just get away from them all. Perhaps he could find a better place to relax with the other group. A quit glance around the building showed they were doing much better with their side.

Hans moves to 21,5.

Ashok was frustrated, more at himself than anything. He couldn't seem to hit anyone, perhaps having gotten a bit too cocky from sturgulewski's sharpen spell. He braced himself for more attack, and would've been fine holding the line there, if he hadn't noticed the blur of a horse moving in the woods south of him. He sighed, and knew that a cavalier breaking into their ranks would be a terrible thing. Retreating further seemed to be the only option. "Owen, stay with me here. We're going to have to pull back again, hopefully for the last time! Sturgulewski, stay behind me!"

Ashok moves to 18,4, and pulls out his Halberd.

With her allies all retreating, and the enemy closing in, it seemed about time to follow suit, Lenora decided.

Lenora retreats to 20,5

Xavier sighed when he failed to move Fare out of the way of the enemy pirate's throwing axe. He reached into his pouch for his vulnerary and applied it to Fare's wound. He would've like to pay back the pirate with a halberd to the head, but by the time he'd treated Fare's wound the pirate had already fallen at the hands of his companions. With little left to do he took to the air and began looking around to see where he could be useful. He noticed that the group was retreating (again) and considered joining them when he noticed a house across the river. Besides, he could also surprise the enemy by sneaking up behind them.

Xavier uses his vulnerary and cantos to 22,12.

"Of course, Ashok!" Sturgulewski replied, following Ashok as he retreated and switched lances. The old priest turned just in time to see Fia get up, and he nodded hopefully as he followed Ashok.

"You may require some healing as well," he added. "Those wounds you took look pretty serious. Let's get that handled right away, yes?"
