Vashiane
Whoa, whoa, whoa. According to this, steel actually LOST its resistance to Ghost/Dark? Oh shit, rage will ensue. And Fairy's now also super effective against Fighting and Dark, and ineffective to Fire, while being resistant to Bug. Huh. And Team Flare's motive is to collect money and create a Utopia it seems... This won't end well.

Silver Lightning
Hype, Hype, HYPE!!!!!!!! With a couple rages thrown in..... Well, at least this means that Ice doesn't get another weakness like rumoured; and perhaps steel lost dark/ghost resistance to balance the super effective against fairy or something.... I'm not impressed with with Mega Mewtwo X, but then again, neither was I was impressed with Mega Mewtwo Y. His original form pwns both. Honestly though, he better not be the only legendary to get mega form; I'm still sorta against having legendaries get mega since they're already godlike among pokemon, but if your gonna give a legendary not one but TWO mega forms, at least give the rest some coverage (though this get's me wondering how other legendary formes like Origin, Therian, and Resolute formes will compare...) AND GODDAMMIT GAMEFREAK!!!! WHY'D YOU MAKE FENNEKIN'S EVOLUTION BIPEDAL?!?!?!?! WHYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I mean, from an aesthetic point of view I'm not sure I really like it (but then again, it could look worse), but it really worries me that its basically one step away now from being another fire/fighting. Which HAD BETTER NOT HAPPEN!!! D: I have faith though in that it at least knows Psyshock..... Honestly, out of the second evolutions Froakie's looks best; I'm stating to have second thoughts, but for now I guess I'll still hold on to the Fennekin bandwagon and let the final evolution decide it for me.... Djing
Froakie might become my ideal starter now. This makes it the first time the water starter was my favorite since Totodile. Knight
Ghost not being effective against steel never made any sense, so I don't really have any rage. I really like Froakie's evolution (unfortunately for me, me and my friends already made dibs on the starters, I'm stuck with Fennekin). Garchomp doesn't need a mega form unless it nerfs him. I like the cats, both of them, and I love the dragon T-Rex. Now GameFreak, how bout that Stealth Rock nerf?
Karasz
Does Fennekin's evolution look like Renamon from Digimon to anyone else? Cue the Pokemon-Digimon flame wars. rofl, good to know I'm not the only one thinking that. But good GOD what did they do to Chespin? Hariboogu looks so derp-tastic that it's practically deterred me from ever using Chespin. Gekogashira (Froakie's evo) looks kickass, though, and now I might want to use him. Teerunna (Fennekin's evo) doesn't look terrible, but the design of it becoming bipedal concerns me of it becoming Fighting-type in the end, even though it is known from videos to use Psychic-type moves. The other thing I know is that I WANT those fossil Pokemon. A Rock/Dragon t-rex and a Rock/Ice brontosaurus? HELL YEAH! And honestly, I didn't want to believe the rumor that Mewtwo was getting two Mega Evolutions, but seeing Mega Mewtwo X for myself...well, I'm not surprised, but I'm also hesitant to accept it. Psychic/Fighting type and knowing Steadfast? Dunno about that. But Mega Garchomp looks BEAST. And Sand Force already turns him into more of a killing machine than Sand Veil ever did. But hey, these things happen.
riariadne
I hope Fennekin becoming bipedal is a setup for Fire/Fighting once again. That would make my day.
