Pull My Devil Trigger
I have a feeling they may have accidentally posted the shiny version on the dex entry picture. I just saw it, that's what it looks like gg NoA Also, its Dex entry says it's a "sudden transformation of Carbink" Could it have anything to do with its obtaining method or something? I really hope so, if it has good base stats, that could make it one of the easiest legendaries to get with perfect IVs and nature, provided you can use your own Carbink of course

That would allow me to get a perfect Diancie. And I would never turn down a perfect Legendary.
Konnor97
To be honest, I don't think doing stuff with a Carbink is going to be how you get Diancie. It's probably going to end up as you get the WiFi event item, take it to somewhere (probably Reflection Cave), and Diancie will appear. At most you possibly might need a Carbink in your team to 'call/summon it.'
Book of Ereshkigal
Hahaha the official site corrected the dex image.
Quintessence
Any ideas on Diancie's Statspread? Regarding moves, I've seen Dazzling Gleam, Calm Mind, Hyper Beam and Power Gem (?).
Icon of Sin
That might be its own move which is Power Gem+.
Pull My Devil Trigger
I think it is the 100 in all stats pokemon of this Gen
LuxSpes
If this image holds any truth, Diancie is not the 100 all across pokemon and more a slow, defense oriented one
Ema Skye
The leaked screenshots of Diancie show that it's stats are approximately 75 HP / 75 Atk / 150 Def / 75 SpA / 150 SpD / 75 Spe. So like a buffed Carbink (+25 to all of HP, Atk, SpA and Spe), with a 600 BST. Edited February 15, 2014 by Athena
Quintessence
In the vid, Diancie has 125~ Hp by lv 50 and Dazz Gleam leaves Goodra yellow.
Shadow Mir
Out of curiosity, whatever do Lysandre and Diantha do if their mega Pokemon is dragged out before it's their last one (notwithstanding the fact you'd have to at least be equal in level to one of their Pokemon to boot it out)? Ema Skye
I don't see it being OU to be honest, just in terms of its stats. It's very weak to OU's standards, along with being slow. It's possible it could work defensively, as it's typing does provide a lot of useful resistances like Dragon and Flying.

Melonhead
I'd like to point out that a Pokemon with 50 Health Base Stats, 0 HP EVs and perfect IVs has 125 health at level 50.. So that's my official guess for a HP Stat. The above picture shows that the Attack/Special Attack and Defense/Special Defense stats are also even, and the Speed is pretty low, so I'm thinking a 50HP/100ATK/150DEF/100SP.ATK/150SP.DEF/50SPE spread is about right. Actually with that above picture someone could calculate the exact stats of this thing due to the implied 0 EVs.

Nobody
#teamninetales #teamcrobat I wonder if a diancie can breed carbinks, manaphy/phione style. Edited February 15, 2014 by Nobody
Phoenix01
That seems interesting. I don't think so, though. Also I got my flawless shiny HA Porygon2 onto my X yesterday, time to beat lots of people over Battle Spot :)
JSND Alter Dragon Boner
Honestly Carbink biggest flaw that make me stopped using it was offense. I remember going on in gamefaqs back in the pre bank days, about how Carbink is pretty amazing, but it just did not hold up in bank meta. 50 base stats boost is an equivalent to a 40% boost assuming both are running modest 252, so hopefully this might be enough to give it the push it needed I can't wait for Diancie now Not to mention it would be a pretty niche pick for Ubers
Anacybele
This doesn't make any sense to me. Isn't evolution also a "sudden transformation"? xP Also, my poll choices are winning, yay. Especially Crobat, it's killing the competition! Woohoo, go Crobat! :D Edited February 15, 2014 by Anacybele
Book of Ereshkigal
A lot of things in pokemon are sudden transformations, mega evolutions, form changes...
Anacybele
Well, that's true. I'm curious about something. What would happen if Torment was used on a Pokemon holding a Choice item? Would the move fail? Torment makes a Pokemon unable to use the same move twice in a row and a Choice item limits a Pokemon to only one move.
