Rehab Posted October 27, 2013 Share Posted October 27, 2013 (edited) I haven't actually seen a heck of a lot of matches, and am absolutely nowhere near up-to-date on anything current, so I feel sorta unable to call myself a fan, but in stumbling upon this forum thread, I was blessed with such extensive, amusing and tantalizing writeups of important fights, fighters and the history of MMA as it has stumbled from low-budget pro-wrestling-alike to something kinda like a sport, that I couldn't help but be sorely hungry for more. Looking up the Machida now Rin Nakai strikes me as a cool lady, but I heard she's managed more by a "talent agency" than a fight promoter, and one that has put her through some regretfully skeevy shit, in addition to without a doubt having at least one of her fights fixed ludicrously (her level of involvement unknown), even aside from her organization/competition Pancrase having a long, sordid history of being alternatively maybe kinda legit sometimes?, and mystifyingly sketchy. Ump Posted November 2, 2013 Share Posted November 2, 2013 I watch UFC fights all the time. I totally forgot about that Machida fight, wish I saw it.
