How to do a simple reclass run?

I want to try doing a reclass run for either FE7 or FE8, but I have no idea how to simply change the classes and leave everything else the same. Can someone point me in the right direction?

You could use codebreaker codes to do just that or use Nightmare, though i'm not sure of any other methods.

Basically, just use Nightmare, and go to the Chapter Unit Editor and change the class there, and weapon. Stat changing requires Character Module, which is also very easy to use.

Custom weapons require a but more messing around (example: it took my literally 1 1/2 hours to figure out how to make a damaging staff for Priest!Eirika) (most of it was the weapon lock q-q)

So all you need is NM, the modules, and, possibly FEDitor adv for item text edits
